I cannot recommend this place enough! It’s absolutely wonderful! EVERYONE, is super nice and professional!! I started my journey almost a year ago. I fell badly and hurt my shoulder and wrist and tried PT with Katherine to recover. Katherine was amazing and significantly improved my situation but we hit a plateau, only to find out after getting an MRI that I had a full tear in my shoulder and would have to have a rotator cuff surgery in order to fully recover. So I did… and as soon as I had the green light I was back at my favorite PT place. This time, I was assigned to Alex. She has been amazing, very professional, understanding, supporting, encouraging and coming up with great suggestions to make things easier for me. With the help of the wonderful Nikki (and occasionally Caty while Alex was out), I’m now about 5 month after starting PT ( with a couple 2-week breaks along the way due to travel) and my range of motion is pretty much 99% normal and my strength is improving every week. Sam at the front desk was also a wonderful participant in my recovery journey, always super friendly and accommodating, making things easy for me from the admin side. These guys not just “fixed” me, they did it in such a friendly and fun manner that it was actually fun being there! I highly recommend Professional Physical Therapy in Newton! You guys are the best!! Can’t thank you enough!

Alex and team are top-notch PTs who are super knowledgeable and caring. Been twice with isseus that have been resolved quickly and with home exercises to prevent them in the future. Highly recommend!

I received excellent care for a neck/back issue at Professional Physical and Hand Therapy in Newton. My care was so focused and attentative, I avoided surgery. The staff is friendly, understanding and helpful; while at the same time able to hold me to a high level of contribution towards my own well being. Wondefrul place. Hopefully I won't have to go back, but if I did, I know I would be excellent care.

The team is fantastic! I would give them 6 stars if I could. Both compassionate and kind, yet strict enough to make sure you do your exercises. Just what one needs from physical therapy! I felt like Caty always found time to listen to my concerns and always treated me with kindness. There were plenty of laughs and while I am glad I don’t need PT anymore I miss seeing my friends at PPT in Newton. 10 months post ACL/MCL reconstruction and back to all my favorite sports. I could not be happier.

Alex was absolutely amazing, she immediately knew what my issue was with my knee the first appointment I went and created a gameplan for my return to traveling for work. She cares very much about wanting to get you on the right track, even pointing out stuff about my knee that the orthopedic surgeon didn’t necessarily find. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone who has knee or shoulder problems, I am back to 100 percent after a month of seeing her and have had no issues whatsoever!

Alex and her team helped recovery for hip replacement surgery go as well as i could have hoped. From the initial evaluation I felt like i was with people who could map a plan to get me back to doing things like I used to. Very empathetic and attentive Physical Therapists guiding you through your workout until they’ve done their job. Then they leave you with a home workout to continue the healing. I went to Professional PT for my hip. Alex and the entire team were great. They work with each other seamlessly and were all very attentive to my progress. I was concerned that I wasn't healing and had my doctor order an x-ray. I sent the results to Alex via email and she very quickly confirmed that she was treating the issues revealed in the x-ray. That put my mind at rest and definitely helped me be patient with the process. I highly recommend Alex and Professional PT.
