I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Ashley over the past year. I agree with all the other reviewers-Ashley is amazing at what she does. Her knowledge and resume are very impressive. If you want a provider who will take the time to listen and answer all your questions, Ashley is the one for you. I have recommended others to visit her, and they’ve been pleased. I will continue to recommend her to anyone I cross paths with who is need of a Nutritionist. Thank you Ashley for being the amazing person that you are!
I heard about Ashley through a recommendation from a previous therapist. After reaching out to her, I figured it was worth a shot as I was tired of feeling the way that I did about food & didn’t seem to be making much progress in my therapy sessions alone. I worked with Ashley for a couple years & I noticed such a difference. She helped me to incorporate my fear foods back into my diet & guided me as I rebuilt my relationship with food. She always listened & talked through any concerns or questions I had on my journey & gave suggestions. I’ll be forever grateful for her as she helped me immensely in my recovery.
I could write a novel about how much Ashley has helped me become healthier and stronger. Ashley is incredibly good at her job. And it’s not just a job to her - helping people is her way of living. You can tell by what she brings to each appointment and beyond that. She’s knowledgeable, supportive, and creative. She will actively listen to your questions and provide thoughtful answers. She is understanding and patient when things are tough, and she’ll share the joy with you when you feel on top of the world. It can be hard to find someone who will truly feel the happiness of your personal wins, but she will, no matter how small you think they are. Ashley has been a figurative shoulder to literally cry on and a constant source of support throughout my time with her. I can’t recommend her enough if you’re trying to improve your relationship with food. I didn’t think I had a *typical* experience or diagnosis (who does?). She helped me work through that with her expertise and her empathy and I am happier for it. Thank you <3
I highly recommend Ashley to anyone who has issues with food. I’ve been working with her for a year now and her recommendations for building healthy habits while prioritizing healing have changed my life! I’ve struggled with an eating disorder for over a decade and, with Ashley’s guidance, I’ve finally reached a point where I feel at peace with food and my body. She is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate and she asks questions about food and nutrition while carefully avoiding potential triggers. If you’re looking for someone to gently guide you on your path to healing your relationship with food, Ashley is the right dietician for you!
My daughter saw Ashley during her recovery from an eating disorder and I believe it is because of Ashley's help that my daughter is now eating successfully. Ashley was a confidant who asked the right questions, listened, and provided doable solutions and tools, such as a recovery app. She allowed my husband and I to participate in sessions when needed and helped us navigate our way as caregivers. She was always available and responsive to texts and emails, and friendly and approachable in person. I would highly recommend Ashley to anyone seeking assistance with food issues of any type.
Ashley is hands down the most compassionate, patient, and supportive person I’ve ever met. She has helped me to find my way back to the life I want to be living. There were times when I thought I would never feel better or be less anxious around food. I’ve known Ashley for a year now and can confidently say that I am now able to eat intuitively and know that every food serves a purpose. Ashley has helped me to see that I deserve to be happy, comfortable around ALL food, and feel at peace with my body how it is. She has helped me to rediscover who I am without my ED and what my interests and values are. Ashley will work with you at whatever stage of recovery you are in and help to set realistic and achievable goals at every step of the way. She helps you to fight that inner voice that bullies you into obeying food rules and offers guidance and tools to counteract those thoughts. She will tell you that everyone’s recovery journey is different and that recovery is not linear and that you can still recover no matter how long it’s been or what stage you are in right now. Trust her on this!! I truly feel that Ashley has saved me and I will always be grateful for her support, encouragement, and guidance.
Changing providers isn't usually a fun task--especially in the midst of a pandemic. I was very anxious about meeting and starting to work with Ashley never having met in person. However, I am SO grateful I did. Ashley is absolutely wonderful. She is the most kind, caring, and empathetic dietician I have worked with in my eating disorder recovery. She has pushed me to my limits in the most supportive way and that has truly begun to push me towards food freedom and less reliant on old, rigid, and destructive patterns. She is there for you in session and out of session. Ashley meets you where you are at and works with you to creating lasting change. I truly believe I would not be where I am in recovery if Ashley was not part of my team. I walk away from sessions feeling like goals and challenges are created with my input and also based on where I am emotionally and physically. Ashley takes the time to listen to be able to treat you as an individual person rather than another meal plan. I can truly not recommend Ashley enough! I feel beyond grateful to always have her in my corner rooting for me even if I'm struggling. Working with Ashley is something you will never regret!
Ashley’s reputation precedes her. She is truly a gem. Aside from being warm and down to earth, she’s a great nutritionist. Her experience working with individuals with disordered eating greatly informs how she approaches being a nutritionist. I’ve often found that most nutritionists are either calorie counting obsessed or way too relaxed, somehow expecting that you’ll just “get” what intuitive eating is supposed to mean. Ashley considers everything from your mindset to your individual bloodwork to ensure you’re getting the right nutritional advice for you. She helps you learn to make gentle and better choices to feel good in your body. Her focus is always gentle and supportive. She never makes you feel ashamed or like you must live up to some lofty expectations. Ashley has helped me tremendously in the past three months that we’ve been working together. I recommend her to everyone who eats! I’m so grateful to her for helping me on my journey to heal my relationship with food while gently working towards making decisions that support my health.
