Mark is very knowledgeable and very easy to speak with. He also looks at everything instead of just quickly making a judgment or educated guest on what’s going on. All of the advice he has given me her directions he has pointed me in his helped out tremendously. I’m very happy and pleased with his work and will continue to have him as my doctor. He is a doctor that I would tell others about. I would recommend him to others.
i just love going to that office. everyone is so polite and Michael Cavanagh is one of the best doctors ever. He gives me the Cortizone shot and gets it into the right spot in the shoulder and I am pain-free. I praise him every time I see him. He’s very polite very kind.
I recently had my one-year post-operative checkup following surgery on my left hip, and everything is perfect—I’m back to hiking pain-free! Dr. Brothers is truly exceptional!! What sets him apart is not only his passion and dedication to his profession, but also his humility and kindness. That’s why he’s the best of the best. Thank you so much, Dr. Brothers!!
It’s definitely no fun when you have to go see a doctor. But my experience today was that of a wonderful Medical community From entry to exit, All the staff were Very friendly. It is clear that they run a “well oiled ship “ and the staff, Everyone I came in contact with, looked happy to be working there. Also, I am sure that my experience with my upcoming hand surgery will go just as smoothly. I felt very comfortable with the staff & Dr. Vanderzanden.
Julie greeted me with a smile and was very friendly during my visit. She was efficient and gentle while fitting me a newly made splint. She thoroughly explained how to use/clean splint as well as give clear instructions for my road to healing. Thank you
For convenience, they get 5 stars. I was able to get an appointment within weeks instead of months out. They can do x-rays on site. The physical therapist they prescribed was near me instead of their physical therapy office which was farther away. The appointment was also relatively quick. All in all, I was in an out in less than 45 minutes. In terms of listening to the patient, having empathy, and making sure all my questions were answered, I’d give them 2 stars. I got a diagnosis that was tough for me to get and I had some more questions but Dr. Casagrande never asked me if I had more questions. He just said he’d write up a script for physical therapy and he left the room. I was in tears and I can understand if that made him uncomfortable but he didn’t even say he was sorry or give me any words of comfort. The nurse or medical assistant who asked me questions before the doctor came in asked if I had tingling in my feet and I told her I did in both my hands and my feet and that I thought it might be related to some medication I take. I was still filling out my medical info and history paperwork. She never asked me what the medication was and neither did the doctor. She just said she would input the medication when I finished filling it out. I think the doctor should have asked me about the tingling just to rule out my hypothesis. I felt like they took an incomplete history. I’m young for the diagnosis I received and I think it warranted a bit more explanation and at least asking me if I had any questions but it seemed like I was just one in an assembly line of patients. I suppose that’s the trade off for all the convenience I described before. I’ve heard that orthopedic surgeons have some of the worst bedside manner and I wasn’t expecting the kind of appointment I have with my primary, however, I was expecting at least a bit of a history to be taken and some care expressed when a patient is in distress. Maybe, because my issue couldn’t be solved surgically, the doctor didn’t think he had anything more to do but as a patient who is decidedly not an orthopedic expert, my expectation was that he make sure I had gotten my questions answered before walking out of the room.
Excellent experience! Don Salva is the best. He shows interest in your life and activities associated with your health issues. He is a master at giving painful cortisone shots. Just a small pinch and it’s over. He has a great technique. Personable and kind. Love him!
First time visiting their office but was not disappointed. From the staff, to the assistant they all were very helpful. They listened very carefully for the reason behind my visit to their office, viewed my X-ray disc that I had taken for them to see and after consulting, they gave me many options of doctors. A very close recommendation was of a doctor they close colleagues with, know their expertise in the field of revision ( which is what I'm needing) and we're able to refer me to them. And all this happened earlier than my appointment time! Great staff, amazing doctor and would recommend in a heartbeat!
