Christopher's Tavern in Springfield

We have been going to Christopher tavern for years and always had great experiences but tonight was not,it wasn’t to busy yet and we placed our orders after 1/2 hr me and my wife got the salad then my wife got her entry then mine came later before i got my soup i suppose i was to eat my entry before the soup.Our friend at this point still didn’t get anything of what she ordered. The server was very apologetic and we know it was not her fault.

Had a recent 40th birthday party in banquet room with 60 guests & it was excellent. Lynn the banquent host did an amazing job and went above and beyond to make event special. She kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We were able to decorate the room that we wanted, food was great. Bartenders (one was Maya and I feel terrible can't remember other ones name) both were excellent & everything we asked of them they were right on it. I couldn't have asked for more. And most inportantly, my husband loved it. Def recommend for your next event. We love christophers!

Perfect place to watch sports, huge bar and tons of seating. TVs everywhere, no bad seats. Food was on point, fried Mozzarella was bomb. Also had a free buffet during super bowl half time. Staff super friendly.

This place is a sit down and chill or sit at the bar and be social and loud. My kind of place! Great place to have a beer and watch the games. The food is Great. Shawn the cook really knows how to satisfy the tastebuds.

I paid $15.40 for 5 shrimp and $20.40 for a bowl of pasta. Yes I ordered through grub hub so I'm sure they tacked on extra to each item. Also 2.88 in fees which I am sure goes to GH. But still. $36 for pasta and 5 shrimp is a bit much.

Eight of us went there on a Saturday night about 9:00 PM. We sat at a table (one of many that were open) and the waitress came up to us with menus. We told her that we were not there for dinner rather drinks. She immediately got frowny faced and said that she wasn't sure we could sit at that table if we were not eating. What? Eight thirsty people with wallets open ready to spend money? Well she relented and (10 minutes later) we got our drinks. During our stay staff seemed to be put off by us and we didn't get that warm and fuzzy feeling. Three people did get some appetizers as they got hungry and they were good. Overall the food was good, the TV's were great but the service was mediocre at best. Between the eight of us we spent well over $400 and would've have thought we could have been treated a bit better. Maybe we weren't sufficiently hipity hop and didn't come in with our pants halfway down to our knees and hats on sideways with the sticker still on the brim? Just saying.....

Visited for a family event. Their margherita pizza was delicious! -3 stars due to their lack of customer service. The waiter was not attentive at all, forgot friends order. The bartenders ignored us at the bar and tended to people who came after us, waited over 20+ minutes to even be acknowledged. Wish we had a better experience, would have went back for the pizza!

I went here on a very busy Friday night. The service was great despite how busy they were. These are some of the best wings in Springfield. Garlic Parm is incredible, sweet chili is almost as good as Sophia's but missing a bit of a kick and the buffalo is good. The cheeseburger though? It's not pictured because we ate it that fast. Seriously. Get one. Or three... The nachos were pretty decent. Thanks for making a wide pile of nachos instead of a tall one so more nachos get some topping love!
