It’s nice and quiet, but for those in subsidies, HUD is stupid strict about the condition of the apartment. It must always be immaculate otherwise someone from the office has to periodically come into your home and look around. They don’t care if you’re in a handicapped unit and are sick and rarely able to get out of bed thus making cleaning an incredible arduous task. It must be clean. If your washer breaks down in your handicap unit, you’ll be left waiting a long time for someone to repair it. They also renovated the apartment very poorly. The handicap unit bathroom does have a dip in the floor for the water to flow outside the showering into the grate.so it instead goes AROUND the grate and fill the bathroom up with water that has leaked out into the hall. I tried bringing this issue up and they told me to just use towels as a blocker instead of finding something to just block the water and keeping it in shower. Also whoever the hell did the wiring in our apartment did clearly had no idea what they were doing. Everything short circuits over the smallest thing and yet somehow our electric bill is over $400+ a month. I always try to be civil and kind but I find that people working in the office are always indifferent or uncaring and have other things to do. They’re nice to my wife, but I have a feeling they might just dislike communicating with me because I’m autistic even though I surprisingly good at communicating from years and years of practice. I don’t know. I can’t stand the intrusive worker having to come in here to make sure everything is up to par when I’m constantly bedridden, they stress me out and even my doctor is telling me that this stress is actually worsening my condition. If I’m just given time to clean the place myself with no intrusive visit, I know I can get it done by my own pace and call them when I’m ready for them to see the end result, but I know they won’t work with me at all. I feel like this whole place is very ableist centric even though there are a lot of retirees here. It’s truly unfortunate. The nature here is lovely and the people are so kind. But perfection and money seems to be the only thing that matters in the end.
This management is by far the worst I have ever seen. They allow resident to bully another resident and won't do anything about it. Noreen is an unprofessional employee they have there who doesn't care and allow hate crime to happen.
I love it here! Quiet, beautiful grounds, The Best Management The Best Maintenance Dept. Truely care about the residents. Keeping us informed during Covid. Finding info for folks that need help getting enough food etc.Really nice 1 bedroom Elderly apts with a good amount of closet space. Compared to the majority of similar housing these are the best apts. There are activities & trips organized for us ( depending on Covid status) . I did 45 applications different places. All of which I had been in for my job. This is the Best, Nicest, Well run place. Everyone is friendly & companion pets are welcomed!!!
Although there is a lengthy waiting list (we waited 3 years or so to hear back) it is worth it. Subsidized rent, a community pool, playground and private yards for the kiddos that are safe from main streets, updated appliances, friendly and prompt maintenance workers that don't slack on work orders, office managers that are very pleasant, gardens- honestly I love living here. The only downsides are sometimes your neighbors can be a handful. The walls are very thin and the tenants are grouped very close together so it's not uncommon for everyone to be in your business. There are also very wonderful neighbors though.

Its awful here: there's workers banging, smashing, coming into your apartment. You'll NEVER get peace and quite. Don't move here unless you absolutely have too!
