Went there for lunch today. I ordered a Cosmo, which was just okay—there was a bit too much of the secondary liquor and cranberry in it for my taste. My burger was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection, but the fries were cold, which was disappointing. My husband had the haddock stuffed filets, which were very tasty, but the butternut squash had a strange aftertaste. The service was average and slow, but the atmosphere truly steals the show—warm and inviting. That said, for the price point, cold sides and so-so drinks aren’t really acceptable, so I’m not sure when we’ll be back.

This place is phenomenal. Great management and staff, cool atmosphere, and delicious food!! Steaming Tender just hosted our Harry Potter themed surprise bday party in the Parlor Car by the restaurant and it was so fun! It was delightful working with Linea to bring it all together! The wait staff Sarah and Amanda were attentive and quick with getting drinks and food to the table for a party of nearly 40 people! And the food was really good to top it all off. 5 out of 5 stars!

My boyfriend had this place bookmarked since forever, so we decided to pay it a visit. Right away, we were excited by the rail themed decor and the good smelling food before even entering. Our server was incredibly friendly, and despite an understandable wait time due to it being a busy Friday night, our meals were worth the wait. Would definitely recommend the honey salmon dinner, and the bread pudding for dessert. Will absolutely be coming back!

Had an amazing experience at Steaming Tender! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the new Teriyaki Alfredo and I was beyond impressed. The service was great and the atmosphere really made me feel happy, like a real life Hallmark movie! Decorated so beautifully, you feel like you’ve just transported back in time. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Wow! This place checks all the checkmarks! My wife and I were traveling to NH from the Berkshires and wanted to find a place for dinner that was conveniently off the Mass Pike. This place is about a mile off the exit with lots of easy parking. The atmosphere is really cool especially having two train tracks close by and having trains pass through. Service was amazing including the owner who was super friendly and really outgoing. Loved her and you can tell her passion to offer her visitors more than a good meal. It’s definitely an experience that you won’t soon forget. Food was awesome. I had the special haddock with mango salsa and my wife had the fried chicken sandwich. Sometimes these places that have such awesome atmosphere lack good food, but not this place ! Also, prices were very reasonable and the service was extremely fast on a busy Friday night. Thank you Steaming Tender. This was an outstanding experience! Well done.

11.16.24 What a delightful place. Lots of free parking. We were seated quickly, and our clam chowders and entrees were served quickly. My reuben was warm and delicious. Inside there are many cool decorations and seeing the train outdoors, etc is just cool.

The team at Steaming Tender seems to genuinely care about your dining experience. They want everything to be just right, and if its not, they will work to get it right. Service was exceptional during our last visit. Highly recommend!
