About

PhyziX (formerly PhysioX) is a holistic physical therapy practice in Needham, MA, specializing in chronic injuries with no clear cause. Traditional PT often falls short for these cases because the source of pain is rarely the root cause. We view the body as a connected system, where movement in one area impacts another. By tracing connections from your feet to your head, we uncover the root cause of your issue for fast, lasting relief. Every session is personalized to retrain movement patterns so every joint and muscle works in harmony. Our goal is not just to relieve pain but to prevent it from coming back. Book a free call with one of our doctors of physical therapy today to see if our approach is the solution you’ve been looking for.

As a coach and trainer with over 25 years of experience, I’m always looking to expand my knowledge—especially when it comes to intentional, optimal movement that I can pass on to my clients. The workshop with the PhyziX team was invaluable. We all walked away with a deeper understanding of how the body compensates, why certain movement patterns develop, and—most importantly—how to correct them. The PhyziX team guided us through it all with incredible clarity, hands-on technique correction, and thoughtful answers to every question. This experience wasn’t just educational—it was empowering. Education + application are key pillars of living FIERCELy, and PhyziX delivered both. I’m truly a better coach (and weight lifter!) because of it. Whether you’re a trainer, coach, or team looking to elevate your movement knowledge and pain-relief strategies, I highly recommend connecting with PhyziX. It’s always worth it. 💪 — Coach D, FIERCE by Choice

Brandon has done a great job in helping me to become the best version of my self physically. We are focusing on getting stronger but with an underpinning of improved balance and flexibility. In a recent ski trip out West, I was amazed at my endurance and recovery each day for the three days that I skied. This is the first time I have bounced back so quickly. I attribute that to all the work Brandon and I have been doing.

I’ve been working with Adrian at PhyziX for several months now, and I can honestly say that my experience has been life-changing. After years of constant knee pain that limited my mobility, I was struggling with simple movements like squats and lunges, and they seemed impossible. But after just a few months of working with Adrian, I’m moving better than I have in years – with no pain! I used to spend each day constantly aware of my pain, but now I don’t even think about them. Adrian has played a critical role in helping me regain strength and flexibility, and we’re even slowly progressing to running without pain, which I had written off entirely. Jia and Adrian at PhyziX have established a strong practice in a short period with a strong team and services that take the entire well being into account. The physical therapist teams attention to detail and dedication to helping their clients achieve their ambitious goals is a huge differentiator. I can’t recommend them enough if you’re dealing with chronic pain or mobility issues!

I love playing squash. Those who have seen squash understand how tough the sport is, requiring lots of lunges in every direction. I used to say pain and injuries were expected in this tough sport until I started working with Dr. Adrian. Dr Adrian has helped me teach my body how to move effectively without adding stress. It is incredible to be pain-free and injury-free. I can move freely on the squash court and am becoming more confident about my athletic abilities. Dr Adrian’s help is part of my plan to continue building a strong and resilient body and mind. Thank you, Dr Adrian and the amazing PhyziX team.

After a total hip replacement, I had other alignment issues that prevented me from getting back to my pre-surgery level of activity (running, sports, etc). What I learned from working with Adrian was my foot strength on the injured side had been impaired and needed to be "reprogrammed" both for functionality and strength. I saw immediate progress in the first few months, pain from simple activities was gone and by month 4 I was able to run again without pain. In addition to the ability to return to my prior activity levels, I most appreciate the process of working with Adrian - he explains what's happening, why it's happening and how the foot should function with the rest of the body, so I fully understand why the home exercises between sessions are programmed. Their app is great and easy to work with as well with full videos of each exercise to guide me through each workout. What I appreciate about the PhyziX approach to PT is to help their clients understand how everything is connected and why things hurt - a weak foot isn't able to handle the weight of the body because the soleus isn't pulling its weight or glute isn't engaging. Other PT I have done has focused on just the area of the injury (in my case, the hip) where Adrian walked through my entire history of injuries to understand where my body may have taken detours along the way. I have enjoyed the process and benefitted from restoring my athleticism and functionality. I would recommend PhyziX to anyone experiencing pain they just can't figure out how to fix through their current PT program or individual effort.

I've been seeing Adrian or a while now for long-term knee and ankle issues, and I can't recommend him highly enough. What sets Adrian and PhyziX apart is his personal approach—he truly listen, take the time to understand what’s going on, and tailor treatment to my needs and addressing root causes instead of just treating symptoms. When new issues / injuries or emerge or setbacks happen -- even in between appointments -- Adrian is always there to help me troubleshoot. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough physical therapist, to help you tackle some long-term issues, Adrian is your guy!

I had an excellent experience at PhyziX working with Adrian. He helped me address shoulder pain by providing clear, effective protocols to follow. After sticking to the plan, my pain is completely gone, and I’ve even hit a new personal best on my overhead press! Beyond the great results, the space itself is beautiful and welcoming—it doesn’t have that typical cold, clinical office feel. Instead, it’s warm, inviting, and very comfortable. The entire staff is incredibly pleasant and accommodating, making each visit a great experience. I highly recommend PhyziX for anyone looking for top-tier physical therapy in a supportive environment

I’ve had such a great experience working with my physical therapist, Adrian, at PhyziX. This was my first time trying physical therapy, and it was for a shoulder injury I got from CrossFit. Initially, I thought it might be my rotator cuff and that I could stretch it out on my own, but after a few weeks, I met Jay, the owner. From the very first session, I could tell this place was different. They have such a personal touch when it comes to helping you recover. I signed up for their 12-week program, and now, six weeks in, I’m already seeing a huge improvement in my shoulder strength and mobility. What I really appreciate is how much time they take to assess your injury, figure out what’s not working, and customize a plan that fits your specific needs. Each week, they tailor the program to keep me progressing. I actually look forward to my sessions with Adrian because the atmosphere is great, the staff is super friendly, and the level of care is top-notch. If you’re dealing with any injuries—especially CrossFit-related ones like shoulders—this place is highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed, and they definitely provide amazing value for what they offer.
