I'm not a member but I've been here multiple times over the last 24 yrs. with the different children I have cared for. It's a great place for kids they have swim lessons and swim team, tennis, basketball, general gym and other activities for the kids. If I had my own kids I would consider a membership for the kids

Longfellow is a great family club. The classes are great and people greet you by name and make you feel like family. Everyone that works there is happy to be there and cares about making it a positive experience for its members. I highly recommend this health club. They are also doing everything they can to keep people safe during the pandemic which is extremely important to me.

I've been a member here for nearly 10 years and really like it. It has everything I'm looking for in a gym in terms of equipment and classes. But I also really like the people who work there--a lot of them have worked there for a very long time and they really get to know the members. And I like that it's a small business. They supported their employees throughout the pandemic shutdown, which I really respect.

We were looking for an hour's time for an indoor ultimate frisbee season on a court at night. We were treated horribly by BSC Wellesley, where we had already played 8 seasons, so imagine our delight when on the recommendation of someone on Nextfdoor, we tried Longfellow. (I had actually been a member there for many years when I lived nearby.) The contrast was night-and-day in every respect. The facility was almost exactly what we needed, the only drawback being a couple of metal goalposts at either end. On my suggestion (and it was a good one in general), they are purchasing padding. But it only took one suggestion and they jumped on it. The staff was fantastic. You know it's a great place because the people we interacted with have been there more than 20 years. Unlike BSC, where they never responded other than to make us feel like they were doing us a favor, the Longfellow folks (Lisa and Judy, I think?) knew who the customer was and treated us as such.

I have been using the pool 5 days a week since January and the facilities, the staff and the members all exceed my expectations. The front desk is always friendly, the lifeguards are alert and smiling, and the other swimmers are friendly and welcoming. It’s a very positive environment with an excellent pool for swimming and physical therapy.

Just walked in at 4 PM on a Friday to more than likely get a membership AND sign up for personal training. While a couple employees seem to be conversing at the front desk it takes a minute for me to be acknowledged. When I am, I inform the woman at the desk I'd like a tour and to explore membership and training options. She tells me no one from membership is available but I can leave my email address and someone can contact me to arrange a visit some other time. I respond and ask "so no one can show me around or talk to me right now?" She responds with "I'm the only one here and I can't do it.” Look, I get it if maybe it was bad timing of not having someone from membership around (even though it's still between normal business hours) but that was a terrible way to handle it. Maybe they aren't membership experts but are you telling me there is no one in the entire building who could walk me around? There were two other people at the desk with her just hanging out. How about you offer me the chance to look around myself and then have someone follow up? What a complete lost opportunity for them. Was totally ready to commit but at the least show you want me here so I come back for an “official visit”. Membership and training business must be good to handle it the way they did... or maybe the total opposite. I'll look elsewhere.

I have been a member at Longfellows, Natick for one year. In that time I have enjoyed using the many pieces of equipment in both their ground and upper floors. I have seen the equipment being serviced regularly. The pool is fine except for the extraordinary bad behavior of many of the children who break rules by running near the pool and other unbecoming behavior! I do not, as suggested by a prior reviewer find the rules outrageous. Rules are for safety reasons and should be adhered to thereby making daily trips to the gym pleasurable rather than an irritation! Many areas of the establishment has been updated such as the men and women's locker rooms, lobby etc.. I have always found these areas very clean before and after these renovations. A new space has been opened up on the second floor for yoga which I hope to join in the near future. The cafe is nice and clean with a good healthy menu. I have found all staff members extremely pleasant and helpful in the gym, reception and offices. In addition they offer extremely competent and diligent trainers. In summary, prior to joining Longfellows, I checked out a number of gyms in the neighborhood. In comparison they proved to be badly run, dirty and overpriced for what they were offering.

The Instructors for the classes are 1st rate and the exercise classes are always fun The staff and the other clients make this a very welcoming environment. I have been a member for over 10 years particularly enjoy the classes offered by the club. Because the classes are fun, I exercise almost daily.
