Far beat it for me to make an accusation so I'll just say this. I'm hearing that there's a woman over there who is discriminating against people based on their race. She had an issue with my son. And I want to go over there and talk with her. But I don't want her making a false accusation against me. But if I find it to be true. I will expose you everywhere. And have you fired. And I will have all my non-cocation friends boycott this pool. Fair warning. You only get one...
The pool I very clean and the open area it is $29 for 5 people me and my brother go there all the time and you don’t need a parent as long as you old enough the a splash pad for the little kids with big bathrooms but the not a lot of seating so but the people are nice. It was hard to find the pool at first but it’s on the side of the skating rink and you can pay there. It not crowded 5 stars from my experience.
My new happy place! So clean, and everyone there is so nice. Fully ADA compliant with a water wheelchair, wheelchair lift, and ramp with railings into the pool. A little oasis in the middle of the city.
Parking for the pool is behind Fitzpatrick ice skating rink. There are large restrooms that include partitioned showers and an open changing area. There isn't much shade to be found outside of the three canopy areas. There are large benches to sit on, but there isn't enough for all the people that visit, so bring your own chairs. They blow the whistle at 0:45 minutes of every hour for the lifeguard breaks, and everyone must exit the pool for 15 minutes. There is a splash park next to the pool that the kids play in during those breaks. You can purchase a family pass for 5 people for $20 for the season.
Nice remodel.... Senior Swim 9-11 Sunday- Saturday 1-6 open swim Monday- Friday 1-4 open swim Saturday and Sunday Pool passes available for purchase at pool Seasons Passes 55+ $5. 13-55 $10. 12-3 $5. 3and under Free Family of 5 $20. Day pass Non Holyoke residents $10. Holyoke Residents $5.
A good portion of the staff is very social with visitors so they seem distracted. Also there was a group of high school-aged boys who just kept shouting profanities. The guards told them to stop...they didn't, other visitors asked them to stop...they didn't and they even argued back and we're rude saying 'go somewhere else then'. To me a more senior staff should have intervened and it if continued they should have been asked to leave.
Im so excited to have yhe pool back in Holyoke. ITS So fresh and clean. Their is a $5 charge but its worth it. Senior swims from 9am till 11am and general swimming starts at 1 till 6. Its beautiful everything has been renewed. I love it
