This walk was GORGEOUS! About 5 mins into our walk we saw a deer and proceeded to see many different birds. The observation tower is a must and overlooks a body of water. Special thanks to Vanessa who gave us trail recommendations and lots of information about the local wildlife! Will be back 10/10

Plenty of wildlife to watch. Particularly common are blue herons and deer, but hawks and even bald eagles (as seen above) can also be found.

Joseph and I participated in the Arcadia Quabbin walk with John Green. He’s a great guy, enthusiastic and a wonderful conversationalist. He is a naturalist who loves what he does. Whenever we are looking at Arcadia programs we always look for programs that John leads. It was a cloudy evening and we walked the dike. Not much to see besides geese and turkeys. We were thrilled when we spotted a porcupine family grazing on the hill. Thanks Arcadia and to John! Lorraine and Joe Golio

Nice small wildlife sanctuary. Easy walks across the woods. We didn't see and animals, just a number of birds.

Great walking trails although it was pretty buggy when I went. A few trails go along the river which was nice to hear the flowing water as you walked. There was a nice wooden walkway around one of the vernal pools. It was a peaceful walk through the woods. At the front of the office there were alot of beautiful flowers. I also saw a woodchuck and a beaver while I was there.

Good for birding. Small and popular with too many trails and intersections to let your mind go and unwind. Limited view from tower.
