Fitness has changed all of our lives for the better and we believe that a healthy routine will bring out the best in everyone. If you are looking for a fitness class that will get you stronger, increase energy, and a sense of community, look no further. I have been working out with this group for the last 3 years and having done multiple different style of HIIT classes, different gyms across Boston, and different personal trainers, this is different. I am in the best shape of my life at 33 years old. No one (trainers and other members) here make you feel embarrassed about where you are in your fitness journey. From day 1, I felt included as part of the community. Whether you are looking for one day a week supplement to what you do or looking for a whole new workout routine, i guarantee you will get what you are looking for here! I usually attend early morning classes for routine but if I miss I know I can go to any of the trainers here for an amazing class. They also have worked with me to go live and virtual sessions for my work team (for team builders). Live by their motto, and just show up. You won’t regret it!

Excellent trainer!!! I haven't been in the gym since i had my daughter 4yrs ago! But this class kicked my butt without making me feel like giving up. She was very supportive and the class was a great intensity until the very end. Thank you Laura, I will be back :)

I have been to Backyahd for around three months now and it has been honestly, the best decision. The trainers, staff, and people are the best. I am Deaf myself so I rely on lot of visual communication such as gestures, thumbs up/down, modeling etc. when it comes to lifting, form etc. and the trainers never hesitate to show me the proper way! Best gym in Bos!

I have been coming to backyahd for the last 6 months and absolutely love it. The workout is always challenging but built for people of all levels of experience. More importantly, it's a community unlike any other I have been a part of at a gym. The instructors know everyone by name and make an incredible effort to build a relationship with you. They go out of their way to help you improve in each class and are available for questions/advice.

I can’t say enough good things about Backyahd Boston. The trainers and staff are welcoming and so so knowledgeable, and the community truly feels like home. In every group fitness class I’ve taken here, the exercises are intentional and, despite taking class in a group setting, you’ll get the hands on individualized attention needed to get through the workout strong and safe. I love the variety offered between Strength, Strength & Conditioning, Strength & Mobility, and even yoga! They also provide muscle group focused classes, making it easy to schedule your weeks of strength and ensure to cover all muscle groups. Backyahd has helped me build strength alongside run training, and was an integral part of my training for both a half and full marathon in 2022. Modifications are always offered in classes so it is beginner friendly. I’ve never left feeling anything but amazing after class, and am so grateful for the backyahd that they’ve created for us. Thank you Rob, Lauren, and Laura for this space.
