I have absolutely loved coming to assembly sports club. From my first interaction with Mary to my last interaction with Julie they have only been the most kind and supportive staff members. The facility is clean, kept and has a wonderful no judgment vibe. There’s always an associate around to ask any questions about the equipment. Overall I suggest it to everyone I meet!

Was interested in joining, but it was so hot and humid in there! And it's the middle of winter, how hard could it be to dry it out and cool it off a little? If this changes I would still be interested, as it's a good location.

Very rude front desk service. I asked for a tour and she insisted I do it myself… even though I did not know where I was going. I also asked if I could use the bathroom and she told me to find it myself. Gym is big with good equipment but service is poor.

This place is perfect! A lot of new equipment and nice and clean. But the reason I had to write this review is because of the desk help Bridget. Always has a smile and very kind. She is the best and was the icing on the cake to my experience here. Unfortunately I had a baby and will have to switch to a gym with child care. But thank you again for all the help!

I applied through the website for a 30 day trial, and my application was received and confirmed by e-mail a couple of hours later. I went the following day during business hours and the front desk manager denied me the 30 day trial, after I asked for what reason they needed my credit card or checking account for a trial. In any moment I altered my voice tone although the front desk manager was kind of aggressive to me, but that is subjective so it is not a big deal, I guess. Anyways, it was suppose to be a 30 day trial, and they have my name, last name, e-mail, phone-number, a copy of my real state ID, which seems a lot of data for a trial, right? Her reason to deny the 30 day trial was that I mentioned that I was going to leave in July, but she said "they need my credit card / checking account to enroll me after the 30 days". She added: "the promo is not for people who are not going to enroll after 30 days, is only for people who are going to enroll only". I told her, "I couldn't find that information on the website". She added: "I can give you a one day pass, but not 30 days trial, because you are going to leave in July, right?" So I replied, in all my honesty, "yes, some time in July, I don't know yet,.. so what if I leave mid or end July I cannot use my 30 day trial either?" At this point she had put away the forms to collect my credit card information, did not accepted to add my credit card / checking information, she offered me to use the gym for that moment if I wanted. I did not understand, I had to ask where the locker rooms was, I received directions, no one offered me a tour of the gym, or anything else. I left two starts (instead of one) because overall the gym is fine and the equipment is up-to-date. Since I cannot try other services, because I have been denied the 30 day trial, I cannot speak about them. The space is quite limited, equipment is very close, no space between machines, so you feel the person working out next to you in either the cardio or the lifting areas. I would recommend going off peak hours. I went at 7 am, around 15 people were exercising, I didn't have to wait that much but popular machines got crowded and some people did wait. I left at 8.45 am it was definitely starting to get full. The locker room is well lit, it was early morning so it was nearly empty, with plenty of space, I don't know later in the day. One of the bathrooms was dirty when I went back to the locker room after my workout, which was unpleasant.

Agree with some of the other more recent reviews on here; it is not a super efficient use of space and somewhat of a gym going through an identity crisis. Haphazard strength items that seem to cater to no one in specific and are a bit out of place (tire, multiple punching bags, etc). They take away space from other standard machines/racks that are slammed during busy periods. But at the same time, the gym does little else to make it feel useful for “serious lifters,” so difficult to gage what clientele this gym is for. Minimal parking, choice of music is off, and treadmills/cardio machines crammed directly on top of each other, and most of all it is EXTREMELY HOT. The walls were literally sweating by the cardio machines due to the excessive humidity in the gym. Good for water loss, bad for comfort. I cannot see how this is an upgrade over the Assembly SC location and unfortunately looks to be very overcrowded at peak times due to the merge. Decent price but I cannot seem to find many “improvements” I was promised this consolidation of gyms would bring

I recommend this gym. I was only a member briefly while my employer’s gym was closed for a short period for updates, but it was rarely crowded here, the machines all work, it was immaculately clean in the restrooms, and the Wi-Fi signal is great. Mary at the front desk deserves a special shout out for being so friendly and very efficient! On more than one occasion I saw her greeting regulars and helping new members with paperwork at the same time. She also remembered my name which is a great way to make me feel accountable for keeping up routine visits. My only gripe are the motion sensing paper-towel dispensers and faucets. These contraptions rarely recognize me as a human and whenever they break I hope they replace them with standard issue. I also think they might consider later hours on Sundays—I was tempted to go then, in anticipation of the week starting, and always realized at the last minute they were closed.

Pretty good gym. Not as crowded as others in the area, but also a bit more expensive. Lots of cardio equipment, which is great. The main downside is that there are too many workout machines and not enough free weights. The gym feels more like one from 10 years ago where most people used machines instead of free weights. This leads to lots of people crowding into the free weight sections of the gym while other areas are completely empty. Overall pretty decent. Most people seem to be upset about the cancellation policy. I will say as someone who reads the fine print they make this policy pretty confusing. I wish they were just more clear and upfront that when you cancel you'll essentially be billed for 2 months, and when you sign up, after a month you'll be billed for the first and last month of membership.
