My daughter's first visit with Dr. Sara Hulseberg went extremely well. She took time to really address the needs of my daughter. This already feels like a much better fit than my daughter's other experience with physical therapy. She took time to explain things and explain the process. It was amazing and very comforting. We are very excited to start this new process and hopefully come out the other side with loads of progress and a lot less pain.
Maddie listened to my issues and focused on all my problem areas. I look forward to my next session with her.
Dr. Franco Till Was really able to hone in on where my physical issue is and introduce exercises to improve my well-being. I learned a lot from him and I feel so much better already.
Sara is Godsend. She works with my 11 year old who has a disability. Sara’s patience, kindness and determination to connect with my child meant the world to me. She’s definitely the best on all levels: emotionally, mentally and with physical therapy.
I tore my ACL playing indoor soccer in March of 2023. At 36, this was my first major injury as an athlete. It was important to me to find the best, and preferably a female. Sara and her team got me in immediately to start prehab (highly recommend), and then had my back every step of the way through surgery and rehab. The entire process was new to me- not just surgery… but being in a gym regularly, going through longer periods of not being able to run, hike, and move as I’ve always done. Not only did Sara take time to help me move through all the phases my knee went through — she was there to offer support and understanding for the grueling mental journey. It was a long process but the way EXCEL is structured is to give clients agency, power, confidence, and knowledge in every facet of body movement and mechanics. I can’t recommend EXCEL enough. Going through something so scary and big that deals with your own body, you want someone that is smart, adaptable to your personality/needs, and that deeply cares. You also want an environment of positivity and inclusivity. You’ll find that here. Almost 9 months post surgery and not only have I learned so much about my knee/body, but I’ve learned a way of living that has addressed chronic and nagging issues that existed pre-injury. I’ll also say that being at EXCEL for several months, you don’t need a big injury to benefit. I’ve witnessed several clients come in with varying issues that were given just as much attention and care.
Dr. Hulseberg conducted a thorough and professional interview, listened carefully to my comments/questions and responded in a clear, concise manner. UPDATE 9/18/24: I'm still going twice a week, and Sara is constantly adjusting my activities to match my changing symptoms - knee replacement was last Feb, spine/nerve surgery was June. She continues to do research to see if there are new therapies we can try for my ongoing conditions. Sara and her team at Excel provide the very best in treatment options... highly recommended.
Exactly what I needed. Excel is always a fantastic experience. Maddie took to the time to hear my concerns, personable, and was thorough with her approach. She didn't just lay an elbow into my trouble areas. She took her time and responded to how my body was responding back. I have come out of massages in the past from other places feeling sore, but I felt relaxed and rejuvenated with Maddie. Would highly recommend and I can't wait to go back for another massage soon!
I was referred to Excel Physical Therapy and Conditioning by my Aunt, whom is currently a patient of hers and INSISTED on me canceling my first appointment elsewhere and to come see Dr. Sara Hulseberg. I couldn’t thank my Aunt enough for introducing me to the best physical therapist! Sara’s approach made the exercises fun and I truly looked forward to my appointments with her and her highly trained staff. I strongly recommend them since I have experienced first hand the exceptional patient care that is clearly done with their hearts-and by the end of your therapy sessions you’ll be feeling like family-as I did!
