I reserved and paid in full, a “Deluxe Cabin” for my 80 and 84 year old parents and a full hook up rv site for myself, 11 months in advance. This was for their grandsons wedding in Oct 2024. We reserved and paid in full/in advance for 4 nights. 10/24-10/28. Arrived to a disgustingly, filthy, Petri dish of a cabin. Toilet was soiled, as was seat! And, when I say soiled, I mean CAKED! Old, used toilet paper stuck to floor behind rv style toilet. Feces in toilet. Every time you flushed the toilet, the outside was flooded with a slew of raw sewage odors. The cabin comes WITHOUT bed linens or towels, BUT NOT THIS ONE! This nasty abode, came fully furnished with filthy, hairy, stained sheets, ON THE BED! A bath towel on the floor and a hand towel that looked as if it may have once, been white. The shower stall was littered with curly, black hair, a small, used bar of soap and a used razor blade. There was a hand soap dispenser that had 1 1/2” of watered down used soap water in it. The microwave looked and smelled like a lab experiment gone wrong, 20 years ago!! I mean foul! We have NEVER! There was a Kureg coffee maker with 4 inches of old water in it! YUMMY! WAIT, IT GETS BETTER… The full hookup campsite, had a fried electric socket. (As we arrived after hours on 10/24/24, 32 degree's for the low) NO ELECTRIC! very cold evening! The following morning when the KOA office opened, I spoke with Brian. He was yawning during my conversation and then blamed my tiny 10’ camper for burning up the “Full Hookup Electric”. I told him, the electric, never worked for even a second, he shrugged and rolled his eyes. He did partially refund 3 nights but no apology and no refund for the night of repulsion that we spent at this dump! We have never felt so filthy in our lives! NO empathy, NO professionalism, No Curtesy and NO CLEANLINESS! I have stayed at MANY KOA campgrounds over the many years that I have camped. THIS KOA, should not be allowed in the franchise. Had this been the first KOA I had ever visited, I would NEVER visit another. If you can stay in a Walmart parking lot to avoid this dump, by all means, do it!

This KOA is in the middle of nowhere so it is quiet with no train or freeway noise. Walmart was about 15-20 minutes away. We didn’t realize it was a Halloween weekend so there were many children running around , with quite a few unsupervised, which seems to be the norm at many campgrounds these days. Many campsites were decorate, nicely, for Halloween, in the upper area. The KOA had a variety of activities, for kids, Halloween related. They even had a “haunted house “. Stay in the lower area if you are traveling with kids where the playground etc are. We moved sites to a satellite friendly one which was cheaper. When I asked for a price adjustment , I was told they spent a lot of time moving things around to accommodate us. I asked again for a reduced price and got it. I did tell the office I appreciated them doing this.

We had great weather over our stay. The campground was clean and the staff was accommodating. There was a pool and many activities for the children . I had my 5 grandkids with my wife and me and there was a full schedule of activities. I would recommend this campground for families.

If you ever get a chance, please book here. When you first come in, does not look like much. The staff does everything in their power to make your stay a good one. I prefer the upper campsites! If you have kids maybe the lower is better for you. Beautiful views. There are waterfalls and streams, you must look for them. Kids activities like crazy. Adult bingo is good. Please visit the snack shack. Food is great! They are located so that you can visit the surrounding states. Museums in Springfield.

We stayed here for a few nights at the end of June. The staff were friendly and organized. The pool and playground were clean and nice amenities. The mini golf could use a facelift, however, it was free, and you don't get free mini golf at most campgrounds. We played a round and still had fun. The property is a lot bigger than it looks from the front. We stayed on an RV site, but saw nice looking cabins and what appeared to be a large glamping tent. The area was quite and clean. Our RV spot was level and the back had a beautiful view of nature. We will stay here again.

People were okay. Deluxe spot with grill, table chairs, fire pit. Just stuffed into a tiny spot next to a cabin. It was nearly 100.00 a night. No cable. Not level. Just not our favorite place. We were going to go there again on our way back through, but decided to go else where because we didn't want to go back. Also water pressure poor. We had to use our pump to take showers. Place could use a little more love. Thinking maybe a should be a KOA Journey instead of a KOA Holiday. Was in no way a resort Getting our big rig out when we wanted to go was not easy in easy out situation. There were points where we had to be very careful.

We pulled mid-afternoon and were greeted by friendly staff. They had a file of prepared maps, camper passes, etc for all incoming guests. Obviously a well run operation. We were given a guide who led us to our site. While the roads are gravel and a little rough in places it looks well maintained. The pool was wonderful with lots of happy guests. The mini golf definitely needs work, but it had many other well maintained amenities. Our site was as described, though not as level as I’d hoped. Still it was private and spacious. A great campground for any weary traveller!

Very clean. Well kept property. Friendly staff. Nice pool, playground, game room. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. Some sites are a little narrow , I wish they were about 2 ft wider. Beautiful view of the mountains but mostly blocked by the vegetation.
