I have never been one to like to go to the gym. I didn’t know what to do, how to do it, and I didn’t have the discipline to show up everyday. Since day one of walking into Full Plate I have never felt dread about going to the gym. The Crew there is so knowledgeable and when you have limitations on any given day they will help you modify your workout so that it works for you. They truly care about you as a whole person; mentally, emotionally and physically. There was a week I was dealing with some family things and could not make it to the gym, I received a text just checking in to make sure everything was ok and asking if I needed anything. I have only been part of the gym for 3 months but the strength that I feel in just those 3 months is amazing! I cannot wait to see how I see/feel at 3 years! Thank you Full Plate for creating a space for me and others to care for whole selves!
My 15 year old daughter did the Strength and Conditioning program this summer. She loved the program and all the staff. Previously she had no motivation to work out like this. Full Plate was such a positive experience for her. 3x/week wasn't enough for her. She wanted to go more! The atmosphere had her engaged and motivated. Steve and his staff are so client oriented and a pleasure to work with. My daughter has seen great results and is enthusiastic to restart once she finishes her fall sport. The strength in her legs has been noticeable by many with her kick in soccer. On the ice, her upper body strength has been recognized by many with the change in the power of her shot. So appreciate to have a program like Full Plate. They've provided my daughter with motivation, positive self esteem as well increased strength!
I have been training at home for years but decided to step out of my comfort zone and join Full Plate for a few months to learn and push myself (even though it was a bit of a drive for me). I loved it more than I thought I would and will miss training with Steve, Ryan, Matt, and Lily! It's been so fun pushing my limits and discovering that I'm stronger and more capable than I thought. The trainers were so helpful, patient, and fun. They do a great job managing the group sessions and somehow still making it feel like you have a personal trainer the whole time. I'm grateful that I got the chance to train at Full Plate for a few months and am excited to take the increased strength + confidence, improved form, and expanded knowledge with me as I continue my fitness journey in my basement gym.
Both my kids11 and 13 have been training at Full Plate for months now. They love going and are upset when our schedules don’t allow them to be there as much as they would like! They love seeing the gains and it has helped them with their sports. Everyone has been great to deal with and work with! I would highly recommend for any young athlete. Time and money well spent!!!!
I waited to put a review in on Full Plate Fitness because they had some turnover in staff, all due to college graduation and military commitments. I can honestly say it hasn’t lost a beat. Matt , the head instructor has picked up the torch where Megan ( former head trainer) has left off. The feeling and camaraderie of this gym is the best I’ve seen since my time in structured, compulsory programs. I want to go to the gym again! If you want to make changes , this is the place to go. It’s real community, that is gently guided by some of the most dynamic and impressive young people I’ve seen.
I love this gym! The trainers (Steve & Megan) personalize the workouts to the participants goals focusing on implementing growth according to individual abilities. I’m not a gym person and I feel and comfortable at this gym. FPS&C is great for beginners/people just looking to get a workout and real athletes. 10/10 recommend!
