The team at Northstar helped me dig out of one of the worst times of my life. The life skills I learned here will stay with me forever. From the owners to the therapists + recovery specialists everyone here is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Special shoutout to my therapist Karen who was kind, understanding and proactive in helping me with my recovery!

Northstar has been a shining light in a difficult period for our family. They treat the clients with dignity and respect supporting them through their entire journey. The staff don't just treat the clients. Families are welcomed with open arms into the family program. There are not enough words to express our gratitude for Northstar and the staff that are there.

My name is Ken. I came to Northstar so vulnerable and scared. I knew I was at a life-changing crossroad. Northstar showed me I mattered and that I was worthy of a beautiful life. Each and every counselor was so caring and educated me and gave me tools to succeed that I carry with me every day. I am Patty his wife and I cannot express enough, how grateful I am also to Northstar. Not only did they care about my husband‘s recovery, but they cared about me as well. And even though my husband is done with treatment there, he gets to go to alumni night Meetings still And the support of that fellowship is so special. Northstar is a blessing.

Being a parent of an addict is something I never thought would be my life. My child has been struggling with addiction for close to 20 years. He’s been in and out of detox without success. This last time after detox he was sent to North Star. This was the best thing that could have happened! North Star is like a family to him and it finally clicked, he is living a sober life. The support they provide is amazing to the client and the family. I would highly recommend this program to anyone struggling with addiction. Thank you North Star for being there for us!

NorthStar is an excellent environment for our loved ones who are seeking help with addiction. The entire staff is caring, kind and very helpful. They go well beyond what is expected to help each person. I give NorthStar at least 5 stars.

This place was like an awesome happy place away from work. It felt like I was on vacation while having good food, hot chocolate & I wish I drank coffee because they have like 10 different unique flavors of gourmet coffees. I actually did try 1 & put tons of coffee creamer into it. 🤣🤣🤣 Would you like a side of coffee with that creamer? I learned a lot from this program & it helped me out tremendously! I felt welcomed unlike a lot of other programs, I felt like it was a safe place in order to share true personal feelings, thoughts & emotions & not be judged like out in the real world. I made a new circle of sober friends which is very difficult to come by in today's crazy world. I also learned that yoga like all sports players do is no joke! I made fun of people that do yoga but now I love it & it stretches you very well & increases flexibility. I work out in the gym, coach daughters sports, hike, run, play golf & am a very physical manbilla (my own made up word) 😁 Yoga helps tremendously & makes you feel so much better afterwards. Kinda like a massage, it hurts getting it done but then feels great afterwards. "No pain! No gain!" My only grip is that Health New England Insurance sucks at covering all costs, but doesn't all Insurance shister's suck at life?! 🤬 Overall I HIGHLY recommend anyone struggling with any substance abuse to take this program! Besides what do you have to lose at this point in your life? If you said anything else but "NOTHING!" Then you are simply lying to yourself which makes me sad... 😭😭😭 FACE IT! AT THIS POINT YOU HAVE EVERYTHING TO GAIN IN LIFE FROM YOUR REBIRTH, RESURRECTION, OR JUST YOUR OWN NEW BETTER SELF! HOWEVER YOU LOOK AT IT! So just give it a try for a week or a month. I guarantee 💯 it will change you into a new better version of yourself.

After getting out of rehab and coming here has been the best experience ever , it has helped me stay on track with my recovery. I def recommend this to anyone in need of help!! Thank you NorthStar!!

Northstar has truly been a godsend. The staff is super friendly and takes time to learn everyone's name. They say good morning and make you feel welcomed. The groups are fantastic. They also offer yoga and sound healing groups. They explore different styles of recovery so that everyone can find what works for them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for help. There is a path to recovery and they will help you find yours.
