Jessica is the best! I've lost 22 lbs so far after working with her. Not only is she really knowledgeable, she also works with me tailor things to my life. I really like Chipotle but I was eating 1000+ calories and very high in carbs whenever I went there. Jessica and I were able to work out how to eat differently there but in a way that still tasted delicious. She's understanding and helpful beyond words! She works with me on obtainable goals based on where I am so it's not overwhelming. If you're even considering working with her, do it. She schedules over e-mail (phone too). Also, her practice is above a Trader Joe's so I usually meet with Jessica then grocery shop which is really convenient.
Prior to working with Jessica I lived off of protein bars and the occasional piece of fruit. My body and athletic performance where less than what they should have been. I suffered from a lot of body dysmorphic and anorexic tendencies. I felt that food was the devil and should be avoided as much as possible. I would have anxiety attacks around eating a real meal especially in public. Working with Jess we redefined what food needs to be for me, it has been life changing. I have reaped many benefits, I eat real food not from a package, and my athletic performance has reached a new level. While working with Jess I represented the United States at the World Maccabi games in Tiberius Israel and brought home hardware. I competed at the CRASH-B indoor world rowing championship placing top 5 in my age and weight class. Jess is one of the most dedicated compassionate thoughtful driven people I have ever worked with. I can’t think of another nutritionist who will text you back at 5 am to help you calculate what to eat prior to competition or remain a shoulder to lean on during the weeks leading up to an event.
