Cornerstone Aquatics Center in West Hartford

I visit here 2-3 times a week for a year not. Loved the staff there and its well operated.

Has 2 large pools, a kid pool and a Jacuzzi. Bathroom/change room is clean. Pools are warm too 👍🏻

The place is very good, incredibly clean. It is excellent for family.

Clean swimming pools and gym. There is also a Jaccuzi for after work out which is nice. I love this place.

This facility is used by two local high schools as they do not have pools on their school campuses. As a result, there are two high school swim seasons which monopolize the main pool for a few hours each day in the Fall and Winter months. They also have a kids swim team who also monopolizes between 4-5 lanes out of 13 lanes throughout the year. If you happen to be mid-workout, you will get kicked out of your lane for these groups. If you don't mind the inconvenience of limited lanes, waiting for an availability, small windows of availability due to hours of operation and events, and risking getting kicked out of the lane you're currently working out in, this is the perfect place for you. On top of that, if you enjoy ornery staff members, this is your ideal workout place.

Great pool for the entire family. The recreation area has an easy ramp that is great for toddlers. The water is kept at 88F so it’s comfortable for the entire family. Lots of other kids use the pool as well. We love cornerstone!

2 pools, first one is a “cold” lap pool and sometimes diving. I got to go in once because usually there are high schoolers doing their sessions. Nothing wrong with that.) Other one is warm for the kids, and the adults. Generally the pool is nice. Except the fact, the guards are rude and they are really bad at their job. There is a gym, pretty good for working out. The price for membership is pretty pricey though. They also charged my younger siblings like adults. But my parents didn’t mind and wanted us to have fun. However, locker rooms are okay but they are a bit dirty. All in all, it’s a good place, but needs some renovations, the guards need to get better at their job and stop being rude.

Cornerstone Aquatics is amazing. My entire family loves it there. Everything is clean and my daughter is on her second year of swim lessons there with Ms. Peggy who is HANDS DOWN THE BEST SWIM INSTRUCTOR ON THIS PLANET! Make sure you sign up for swim classes quick because they sell out fast. We enjoy swimming here for fun and taking lessons here. Just a beautiful place.
