The team at Pro PT in Waltham is amazing! Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Dave is the best PT I’ve ever known, outstanding in his profession, and a great guy with a big heart. The whole staff is amazing but Nico goes above and beyond! Always friendly and personable, consistently organized and efficient, and makes every visit something to look forward to. I always feel strong and hopeful when I leave, but what’s even better is that you feel like family when you walk in - that’s important and unique. Couldn’t recommend these folks more.

I'm super glad that I found this location, as I've had a tremendous experience at this practice and have seen very positive results. The bottom line is, if you are looking for a physical therapy site with knowledgeable and professional therapists, along with a warm and caring ambiance, then this is the place for you. Read below for additional details on my experience, the results I've seen, and my thoughts on the practice. Experience (5/5): I unfortunately suffered a neck injury in early 2024 that significantly limited my mobility and caused a lot of pain and numbness that radiated down to my ring finger. I've also suffered from hip pain since mid-2023 following a separate injury. I finally went to see an orthopedist, and she recommended physical therapy for my neck and hip to restore strength and mobility while reducing pain. I worked with Liz for about 4-5 months to improve my neck strength and mobility. She was super methodical about the approach we took, gradually adding incremental exercises while explaining the rationale behind this tailored treatment plan. Over the last 3-4 months, I've been working with Liz to strengthen and improve mobility in my hip, and my experience has been excellent so far. Results (5/5): I knew that my journey was going to be a long one, but I'm happy that I've stuck with it because I can't recall the last time I felt this good. My neck mobility and strength are much better than they were before I suffered my injury. My hip pain is nearly gone, and my overall posture is significantly improved. Overall, I almost feel as good as I did in my late teens and early 20s, so I'm very pleased with the results that Professional PT has enabled me to achieve. Practice (5/5): The atmosphere at this practice is outstanding. Dave has done a wonderful job of instilling a great culture—one that is deeply caring for its patients. Team members at this site are super nice, knowledgeable, and always willing to help, creating a positive and encouraging environment. I highly recommend Professional Physical Therapy. I am truly thankful for the positive impact they have had on my well-being.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with McKenna Kennedy and the staff at Professional Physical Therapy. I was referred by a nurse friend who told me this was THE place to go and she was right. I recently broke my ankle and needed physical therapy. It was very easy to make an appointment over the phone...Niko is terrific and does everything he can to make the scheduling easy and make sure things are set with your insurance. McKenna, my therapist is incredible. She is thorough and really cares about getting you back to a spot where you are stronger than ever. She pushes you just the right amount. I can tell that I have come a long way since working with her. The staff really all help each other out and make you feel welcome, even if you are not working directly with them. It is a real team environment and you can tell they all enjoy working with one another. It is a great, supportive atmosphere all around. Highly recommended!

I’ve been seeing Liz Freeman at Professional PT for over a year and progressing well. I came in for what I thought was a shoulder issue but based on her experience believed it was coming from the neck. So I had an MRI and she was correct! Niko is extremely helpful with insurance issues and a friendly face when you arrive. The entire team at the winter street location is helpful and they have great camaraderie which makes visiting a fun experience (despite the physical discomfort that accompanies PT sometimes). 10/10 - highly recommend!

The staff here are dedicated, caring, and very talented! I feel like I am a person and a patient with Dave, McKenna, Gerry, Niko, and the rest of the incredible staff. I walk in the door and every time I am greeted by name by multiple staff members, and it is the same for all of the patients that I have seen walking in while I am there. My progress recovering from back issues has been a carefully planned process over the last 5 months and I am very happy about the outcome. If I were a PT, this is where I would want to work!

My experience with Liz has been life changing. Diagnosed with vertigo left me dizzy most of the time especially while changing body positions. Through in house physical therapy sessions and home exercises that has all changed. Liz and the physical therapists have made a significant improvement in my daily life. Their expertise and knowledge combined with their empathy and kindness makes them the best place to go for physical therapy!

I cannot recommend this PT clinic enough! I worked with Gerry for about 7 months to rehab a hip injury. The healing process was much longer and more frustrating than I was expecting it to be but Gerry was with me every step of the way. He, along with the entire staff, are so kind, supportive, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I would not have made it through this injury without Gerry's expertise and support! Would go back in a heartbeat the next time I need physical therapy.

I was a patient here for a while after getting in a MVA. The staff here were highly knowledgable, professional and accommodating. My primary physical therapist was Gerry P. and I feel very fortunate to have found him. He has extensive knowledge and experience when it comes to back injuries and always tailored his approach to my specific needs. Gerry is also a very kind person and made me feel comfortable during my sessions. Due to some logistical reasons, I had to transfer the remainder of my sessions to another Professional PT location, otherwise I would have gladly stayed with Gerry until my PT regiment was complete. I highly recommend Professional PT in Waltham MA on Winter St., especially Gerry P.!
