HD Physical Therapy in Wakefield

I've had a few seperate rehab sessions here and the staff is always knowledgeable, courteous and kind. They are extremely extremely flexible and allow you to come in a little early or a little late if you have last minute changes. My teenage son went here for a few of months after a kneecap dislocation during high school wrestling. Not only did the crew get his kneecap back to 100%. But managed to fit in some exercises to keep the rest of his body healthy during the process. They went above and beyond for him, as well as my needs, during my time there. I highly recommend giving them a chance for your physical therapy needs. They don't just take care of the injury, they take care of you as a person, and that's much more important!

When my orthopedic surgeon recommended physical therapy for my re-injured knee I had no clue where to go. As I was a frequent walker around the lake in Wakefield I recalled seeing HDPT office space. I decided to check them out and am glad I did! Super convenient location! Happy they hooked me up with Mark Dynan for 4 weeks who got me moving in the right direction and provided a plan forward. Shout out to Tim his assistant. The people there are super nice and friendly! The owners, Ed and Glenn, have created a very welcoming space with excellent therapists! Highly recommend!

Michelle at HDPT is great! She has been working on strengthening my shoulder and building greater range of motion from a rotator cuff injury. I highly recommend her and her team.

Mark, Scott, Justin and the rest of the team at HD Physical Therapy in Wakefield have helped me both physically and mentally recover from my collarbone fracture. I was unable to work, see friends, drive or really do anything that I wanted to do for over 6 months before seeing them because of how much the pain and lack of range of motion impacted my life. Once I FINALLY got cleared for physical therapy, I searched online and decided to go here. I have seen immediate and steady progress. I feel encouraged and supported by everyone who works there. All physical therapy clinics are not the same. HD PT stands out above others in terms of quality and results. I have seen Glenn for back, neck, and knee problems, as well as headaches. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Just this week, I went in with pain and tingling from a back injury. After just one treatment, I felt so much better. The next day, the pain and tingling were gone! Glenn is a master diagnostician and the experience he brings to helping his patients is unparalleled. All the therapists here are knowledgeable and compassionate. They are caring professionals who are dedicated to helping people get their lives back. Once, when I was leaving HD, another patient said to me, “ What I like most about this place, is that the people who work here see ME first, not my disability.“ Simply stated, HD PT is the best around and I cannot recommend them enough.

After 3 months of debilitating hip pain, MRI results of Tendonitis and admitting it was not going away on its own, I went to HD Physical Therapy. I had never been to PT before and left HD after ~12 visits pain free…. I was very impressed with the quality of care, friendly talented staff and a very efficient, accommodating and pleasant front office. Special shout out to DPT Lauren, my PT lead and Katie at the front desk. Would definitely go to HDPT again … but hope I won’t need to!

I was resistant to go to physical therapy for my plantar fasciitis because of a bad experience with another PT practice. I am so glad I decided to go to HD Physical Therapy! It is a great practice. Everyone who works there is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and upbeat. They have great up to date equipment and techniques. Glenn D and Robert B have really helped my plantar fasciitis. I highly recommend this practice for all of your physical therapy needs.

I have received treatments from HDPT for both my knee and back. I walked in with a shoulder and back issue that was almost at a 10 on the pain scale, a breath away from going to the ER, and by the time I left I had enough relief to avoid an ER visit and continue on with my day. The therapists are very in tune with how hard to push you (the office is full of athlete-patients). You’ll even get a decent workout if you’re looking to put in the work. The staff is constantly advancing their education and awareness in their field while delivering results with their patients, which builds an amazing therapist-patient relationship that is founded on confidence and trust. Not only is HDPT immensely flexible (often squeezing me in with less than a day’s notice), they are incredibly personable. Consider HDPT the “Cheers” of PT practices, everybody knows your name and makes an effort to know you and help in your recovery. They are also incredibly active in the Wakefield community; HDPT serves as a fantastic model for other small businesses in the area.
