Receptionist was very rude first off. I showed up late and was told I had 3 no shows they won't reschedule but I've never not showed up or called maybe late. It was said in the most disrespectful way...Now I must look for a new doctor for injections before I get frozen shoulder.
Love him DR A is the best DR he is the only DR I seen that help me with my pain he was in Chicopee now he’s in Springfield wherever he moved I will follow him. That’s how good he is.
This is the most incredibly kind, caring, and compassionate office I’ve ever been too. Troy Chilson and Dr. Azimov are the most incredible duo. As a young woman dealing with SI joint dysfunction for years, I have been dismissed by so many doctors and offices. After seeing Mr. Chilson just once, he got me scheduled with Dr. Azimov for steroid injections—I had never felt so heard and seen. When that unfortunately didn’t fully heal me, they referred me to the best surgeon they knew. Now, several months post-op from an SI joint fusion and finally being able to enjoy my early-twenties, I still think back to these two and their whole office staff for genuinely caring about their patients; my life has truly been changed for the better. If you have chronic pain and have the opportunity to do so, please consider Family Physiatry!
Dr. Azimov and Troy Chilson take the time to listen and include you as the patient in determining the best treatment plan. Other staff are professional and pleasant. Convenient location.
life has their challenges, arrived to first appointment @ scheduled time but did not make the requested 15 minute initial time for paperwork. Asked if I could fill paperwork after visit and receptionist answered. "It doesn't work that way". She didn't even asked the physician. I dealing with some newly developed pain most likely related to my broken body after 20 years serving in the military. Were is the empathy, I know it's a business.
Dr Azimov and Dr Chilson are awesome doctors. They take the time to hear you and find a solution for your problem. They're very nice and friendly the same with the stuff. The environment is comfortable and always clean. They get a A+ from me. Been seeing them for a while now. I'm satisfied with there caring and professionalism. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I recommend them 100%.
Started this whole process in the fall October until Feb as I was recommended by my primary care physician. I have had on going back issues, but they really increased after I had my son. After seeing the reviews I was so excited to come here. Dr. Chilson at our first visit said we are going to do whatever we can get to you fixed. He understood being a dad himself, and could see how upset I was. I was crying just due to the frustration and wanting help , answers really anything with why and how much my back hurts. First appointment went well, all was good I was hopeful seemed like I finally was heading in the right direction. I then looked at my bill through my insurance and it said the visit was 45-59 minutes. I get it’s the first visit but I was there maybe 30 minutes tops including the waiting room and spent more time waiting than seeing the Dr. as he didn’t have the right X-ray as my PC ordered an X-ray of my hips and not my back prior to seeing him as she thought I had bursitis. So after that I decided to time my visits. He scheduled me an X-ray, got the the X-ray done then went back to the office a few days later was in the office 15 minutes that includes sitting in the waiting room for him to say I’m going to schedule you an MRI, X-ray didn’t show much just some narrowing in the spine. Fine, that’s cool order let’s get some answers but I do not understand why there just couldn’t be a phone call from your assistant or a message in my patient portal to say I’m going to schedule you an MRI and then we can book an appointment after those results to go over everything. It took me longer to drive there. My mom was waiting with my son and couldn’t believe how fast my appointment was. I then looked at my insurance bill for that visit and was charged for a 30-39 minute visit. Not sure if there is a 10-20 or 15-20 minute visit option for billing but definitely wasn’t what I was billed for. I had the MRI done, did not hear from anyone for a month, I had to call them to schedule the follow up, was scheduled to come back in, a few things with the kids came up and I had to reschedule twice that was no problem, office staff was great and very accommodating. Finally got in and again 15 minutes in and out, 7 minutes with the Dr. for him to just read off the of report in front of my face which I already read in my portal. Then saying there was really nothing he could do. He gave me a few options continue my turmeric, epidural in my back, cortisone, PT, would recommend me to a surgeon but did not recommend any of the above injections/surgery based on my age which I did appreciate, as he was mentioning the shots I was saying I did not want to go that route he goes “I’m not done” took my aback for second then ended with if you need anything give us a call and he left the room. After that leaving there with no answers, a snarky remark I was done. Got my bill and was charged for this visit 20-29 minute visit. I get it, there is nothing to do to fix my back problems, I just feel like my time and money was wasted and most importantly I left there with really no answer on how to heal. I think the only thing I got was to still use the turmeric. I’m receiving PT through my insurance which I can do remote, wish I had that option first. Hopefully you all have better luck than I did and check your billing!
Dr. Azimov is the best doctor out there to help when you have back issues. I've had I think 5 back surgeries and he always knows how long he can treat me before it's time for surgery. He also recommends the top neurosurgeon in the area. His staff are pleasant and happy to see you. He got me from being partially put under to do cortisone shots to doing them in his office without anything other than the numbing medication. One of the best doctors ever.
