Neighborhood park with wooded areas, green space & a beach adjacent to Five Mile Pond.
I never thought that the view of this pond right in the surrounding area in the city was so nice and relaxing to enjoy a quiet moment and hear the water splash. After living in this city for 20 years, yesterday I had the opportunity to enter this park and take these photos.
From time to time I go to look out at the water and riminis of many years I've gone to think 🤔 of my life and the future and pray for a better future not only for me but the w🌍rld
Great place to fish! Nice water, some people ruin it by littering diapers and empty beer bottles and stuff, but I can't down rate the place because people are slobs. Got my personal best largey here, see pic
Five Mile Pond Fishing Area. Nice view of the lake. Seems cut off from the main park. Couldn’t find any trails. Black squirrels. Canadian Geese & Ducks. Seagulls. Lots of trees. Parking lot is holy.
Love the Serene view of the water ,needs improvement but would not give nature anything lower than five stars
I love going there because it's a peaceful place to sit by the water to eat, feed the ducks or be still. Some people be there fishing. I try to go there at least twice a month.
Not a bad place to go to. There are ducks and geese for kids to see. There is a small playground for children. There is a small picnic area. The lifeguards and staff are excellent. I only gave it 3 stars because the portapotty needs to be cleaned, sanitized, and restocked. Also, 5 Mile Pond can, at times, be frequented by some ghetto folk.
It was nice and clean Enough to swim in. Although I just went fishing. I just wish there wasn't so much branch in the way may line kept getting hooked. Aside from that it was free to enter and park it's a nice place to spend time with family friends and loved ones. They even had a porta potty and the police and security took turns protecting five Mile pond park all day.
