Short Version - FAA is a fantastic martial arts gym for both children and adults and I highly recommend it to EVERYONE. My 7 yr old son currently attends FAA and he loves it. FAA manages to balance training the correct techniques and discipline all while making it a FUN and engaging experience for kids of all ages. The coaches are amazing. I've seen other martial arts gyms where the kids classes are routinely taught by the most junior instructors. This is not the case at FAA. The owner/operator Jeremy, with all of his years of experience and responsibility training the most experienced fighters is there leading every single class, and it's astounding. The fact that a sensei can go from running fight camps and cornering elite fighters in the octagon/NAGA mats and still be high-fiving/engaging/encouraging my 7 yr old as he falls to the ground trying to figure out a shoot or high kick? You simply won't get that anywhere else. Same with the other coaches, it's the superstars training the kids and Jeremy has all taught them well, b/c they too are amazing. I've followed FAA for years ever since I trained a bit myself and started seeing all their wins at the local MMA events. They've got some world class fighters and I'm excited about some of their upcoming prospects. That said, I'm even more excited that my son's got a sport he loves, is making friends, getting exercise, and has world class training 5 times a week. If your in the area and looking for an MMA gym, congratulations, you just found it. If you're slightly outside the area and wondering if the commute is worth it, yes, yes it is. And if you compare the per class costs with any other nominal kids activity (gymnastics, taekwondo, etc.) it's comparatively cheap, and more than worth every penny. Do yourself and your kids a favor and give it a shot (and you can see my son fall down trying to do the same).

The diamond in the rough. While being low key f.a.a. has produced top level fighters who have gone to perform in the UFC, bellator, and many other organizations. But don't worry they offer classes for all levels children to the retired. Training offered for bjj, muay tai, boxing, wrestling, kickboxing and cardio training. Get in shape, learn to defend yourself, gain confidence and create some friends. Stop in and try it free for a week.

FAA is great place for anyone that wants to stay in shape while learing how to fight. Jeremy is a great coach. You can tell that he loves what he does and likes to teach. This is a great place for begginers of all ages. I started going 6 months ago and if anything i wish i signed up sooner but i was nervous thinking its just for people that want to be fighters and i wouldn't fit in. There's people here of all skill levels and everyone's willing to help out the newcomer. Dont hesitate and sign up.

I hate going to the gym. Like REALLY hate going. I've been going to FAA for just over a week now and I've never had more fun getting in a workout than I have here. All the instructors are very friendly and helpful through every class I've done. The environment is all about learning and growing. Jer has a really great place and I can't wait to learn more. Can't recommend it enough.

I can't say enough good things about FAA. It is rare to find a place with this level of expertise while still being welcoming to participants of all levels. Jeremy is the freakin' Yoda of combat sports, a terrific motivator always pushing students to do their best, and on top of all that, does a phenomenal job with the children's classes. It is no surprise that the other coaches and students drawn here share those values and are just great people to be around.

FAA has been nothing less than excellent since I have joined. I've been to many gyms but none have what FAA offers. Many gyms are heavy in one aspect of MMA and can be shallow when touching on other arts not of their specialty. All the coaches here are deeply knowledgable in their art and work well individually with their students. The head Coach is a wizard When stringing all arts together. Everyone who is apart of the team is great and a family. The atmosphere, attitude, & hard work here is like none other. Love it!

FFA has been and continues to be a wonderful experience. Instructors are knowledgeable and willing to help. They teach a variety of different fighting styles, for all ages. The gym is clean and includes a cage, open mats, punching bags and a weight room. I highly recommend FFA.

My experience with FAA has been better than expected. Jeremy Libiszewski along with his talented group of instructors brings combats sports to Western MA in a great way. The gym is one of the finest in the area with open mats, a cage, a kick boxing ring, and plenty of bags. They are very involved with their community frequently having the local high schoolers in to work off season wrestling drills, host benefit submission grappling tourneys, and entering the many talented fighters training in part or entirely out of FAA in MMA competitions. If you are interested in experiencing MMA in a safe and well taught manner then head over to see these guys.
