Took a group on Sunday afternoon, the casino was very dirty! Empty glasses and garbage at all of the machines! Disgusting! Waited 30 minutes and coat check to get jackets back….: Ate at A Taps sports bar , service was very good , food came out ice cold ….. the staff was very responsive to resolve our issues though . No hot water in the Basement Restrooms! Just because of the cleanliness issues I would not recommend!
MGM Springfield is nice but there are very few options for food. Everything closes too early on Friday and Saturday nights. The service in the restaurants is not good because the wait staff are union. They won't fire bad employees, they are protected by the union. The sports bar there is okay, but pricey for what you get and the service is meh.
Nice room, great staff member at check in , only downside was hotel room floor was sticky and the TV kept freezing. ||Hallway was quiet and away from elevator noise so that was good.||Casino was clean , drink people were far and few and when we did order it was a long wait to receive our drinks. Not waitresses fault I think they are short staffed.
I have only two complaints: 1. The hotel rooms have incredibly thin walls. You can hear everything from the rooms above, on the side, and even from the bottom. Since I’m naturally quite loud, I felt bad that my neighbors could hear me as if they were in my room. I understand now why MGM provided earplugs for each room. 2. On my first day, the coffee machine in my room didn’t work. I called the front desk, reported the issue, and they assured me they would replace it with a functional one. However, this never happened. I stayed for three nights and called the front desk multiple times about the coffee machine, but my complaints went unaddressed. I expected some form of compensation, such as a discount on my stay, but unfortunately, I received nothing. Despite these issues, the casino is fantastic. I had a great time and will definitely return. However, I will never recommend the hotel solely based on the thin walls. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, but the thin walls are a major drawback.
The hotel was great! The casino was fun, the food at the restaurant, Taps, was delicious. Easy check-in/check-out via the app. No waiting in a long line at a desk. The room was amazing. Comfortable and luxurious. The only thing that was annoying was the lack of signage/info for the parking garage.
Great area with lots of good eats nearby and cool things to do! Macho taco inside the casino was amazing... decent price and the tacos were huge and tasted amazing!! Room was beautiful and clean and service was prompt. Definitely will be staying again.
The rooms are beautiful and service all around the casino was top notch. I enjoyed some drinks and food at TAP and the atmosphere was great. I had one issue while I was there with a food and beverage comp that I had earned and Helder at the cage was extremely kind and helpful to resolve my situation when two other employees had pushed me off. This is a great place to enjoy a fun night!!
The service was excellent the room and the actual hotel was aesthetically pleasing. It was very well-maintained and clean. The price of the room was a bit high but we paid for the convenience of having what we needed close. I was a bit worried about how my sleep would be as I read reviews about noise being an issue and I’m a light sleeper to my surprise I did not hear a peep but ear plugs were provided in the room luckily for me I didn’t have to use them. I did notice when I woke up I pulled the curtains open, and I noticed quite a bit of condensation on the wall and windows. The floor was very wet. I can imagine mold will eventually be an issue in the room . Unfortunately we could not use the pool because it is outdoors and it was just too cold but that is an important detail that is not mentioned on the website. They have a drink station in the casino that offers free soda , water and coffee which I thought was nice I personally did not use it as I opted for drinks at the bar ( alcohol drinks)but it was frequently used by other players there was plenty of staff walking around to assist and plenty of security at every entry point. The parking was free and it was self park although I saw signs of valet parking there was no personal there. The purpose of my stay was to see a comedian at the Roar that was sold out in my city but I fully intent to return over the summer.
