We had a great time hiking a little ways up the trail to swim and jump in off a rock. The water was super refreshing. Parking is quite limited so have a backup plan.
A beautiful gorge that is very easy to access. I definitely did not explore the whole area but what I saw was very beautiful. I definitely recommend visiting.
Growing up, this was the best teenager drinking spot. Apparently, it still is. Time has warn down the trail and made it difficult to hike. Or maybe I am just older. Still it is a wonderful place to sit, relax, and listen to the calming sounds of a beautiful woodland stream
Difficult for me in my 50's. Big boulders to go up and down, and I have short legs. Some one sadly is not picking up after themselves. Enjoyed the quiet here by the river and there is swimming areas that are deep.
Absolutely beautiful but unfortunately it's full of broken glass. Every single person in my party of 6 cut their feet either in the water or on the bank. I highly recommend wearing water shoes or anything but bare feet.
A nice nature spot that is overrun with broken pieces of glass and other trash. Always someone else there. Water is fairly shallow. The greenery is nice. Hike is treacherous. Not handicap accessible. Proximal to downtown Southwick. Small parking lot the has some broken glass, be mindful and be prepared to visit again another time if its too crowded and the lots full. Try ans bring a trash bag when you visit, to carry out your own waste (obviously) but also to carry out the ample trash already there. Graffiti on rocks, skillfull artists. Worth a visit, or a few, so long as you help preserve the integrity for future generations to come!
Amazing hidden gem. Very serene and relaxing. We stayed in the small pools near the entrance which were perfect for our family with small children. Others mentioned if you walk further up the path there are deeper pools with cliff jumping. The water is very clean and refreshing. It flows from the Granville reservoir which is protected so it stays pristine.
I love this place to death. One of the most beautiful and magical places in the area. It could be a little cleaner, but overall it's incredible. Go there for a swim, a short walk, a hike up the creek bed, just to relax or to fish.
