South Hadley Council On Aging in South Hadley

Beautiful newer building with an open space design on one floor. They have a very nice cafe with soup, sandwiches, muffins, cookies and other snacks. Tha cafeteria is well organized and looks very comfortable to enjoy your lunch which is provided by the Delaney Market. There is out door seating for the good weather days and they have a very nice outdoor exercise area with very nice outdoor exercise equipment. The indoor gym is a little small but we'll equipped for it's size. The main hallway is in a circular design so you can't get lost and eventually you'll find the nurses office, game room, conference room and bathrooms. The main lobby area has a very comfortable sitting area to relax and talk with friends. Plenty of parking and not to many restrictions for joining.

I use this facility often and my wife and I are on the Age and Dementia Friendly Committee helping others with Dementia and Alzheimer's.

Start at the front desk where a friendly staff welcomes you and offers a tour of their facility after informing you of all the services. From there you can participate in many ongoing activities. I will surely check into here and improve my health and well-being.

I went to an all ages open house recently. friendly staff and volunteers, yummy mac and cheese in the cafe.

The new building is absolutely beautiful and it's a great place

The facility and its staff are amazing, a proud addition to the amenities of living in South Hadley. Now the Town needs to build a 21st century street so people can get there without bursting a tire. The facility is 21st century. The "road" to get there is little more than a path through the woods. Speed limit should be 4 miles an hour!

Went to the opening of the Cafe, sponsored by People's bank. So warm and inviting I signed up to be able to dine with my mom.

Fun place to meet up with friends at scheduled activities. Very nice staff that plan fun events for the seniors and others.
