Water View Dining on the CT River - Brunch every Saturday & Sunday - Seasonal Dining Patio - Seasonal Cocktail Patio with Live Music - Indoor & Outdoor Events, Big & Small - Monthly Drink Menu - Keno - 10 Draft Beers!
I visited on a Monday night. The bar was busy. I had great service by the bartender. My meal consisted of a couple of Guiness draft beers, a giant pretzel, and a garden salad with blackened salmon. The pretzel was truly giant and the salad was fresh. The piece of salmon was on the small side but good. The setting along the river is nice, and the place is big. There was a birthday party going on in one of the sections. The four stars on the food is due to the price, but I guess all restaurants are getting expensive.
Great service and excellent atmosphere. Depending on the dish, the food can be hit or miss. Like I wouldn't get the tacos again. But the burgers and wings and more upscale entrees are good. Solid kids menu.
We had my future daughter-in-laws bridal shower here. It was a positive experience from the first phone call to the end of our event. The service was terrific, anything we asked for they accommodated. It was a brunch shower & the food was good and large portions. I would use this venue again.
Had my 60th birthday brunch with a party of 15 people. They were very accommodating. The service was great, and the food was amazing. Fun time.
We decided to cross the river to the Boathouse Restaurant. I had never been inside before, the restaurant had been rebuilt. It was beautiful inside. There are huge windows that face the Connecticut River. We had fish & chips, we were pleased with the fish & portion. While enjoying the view & our meal a young family arrived. The kids were given special covered cups for their beverages. They seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as we were.
This place is awesome. I found it by mistake while searching maps for restaurants. The glass windows overlook a lake, and during the summer, there's a patio. They have a bar and fireplace. The chicken parm and blackened steak are so good. The servers are very friendly and super helpful. They offer season and holiday drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic.
Enjoyed lunch at the Boat House. The view was great. The service was very slow. The food was good, but not great. Seafood was a little overcooked. Regardless, we had a nice time. I’d return and sit at the bar.
Great view of the Connecticut river while eating! Super clean inside, including the restrooms, which is rare to see nowadays. Service was wonderful and food was to be expected in this outstanding place to eat! We enjoyed our pretzel bites, tuna sandwich, lobster roll, and molten lava cake.
