Buttery Brook Park in South Hadley

The farmers markets offered on wednesdays during the nice weather is a great feature. A nice, clean, and safe park for all ages.

Great place to meet people and play some pickleball

Its a great splash pad to cool off on the hot summer days. Clean well maintained park. Restroom facilities are well maintained.

Played some basketball and it was a lot of fun.

Pretty cool place to visit. They have water sprays that cool you off. Picnic tables and barbecue grills for charcoal to cook . We had a birthday party the day I went. Fun place to stop in. Very large picnic area. Rest rooms. Basketball court. I dont believe dogs are permitted.

My girlfriend and I were at a picnic with friends. We had a very good today despite the rain. We were under one of the pavilions, so we only got wet going back to the car.

I used to go here with my friends and I still do, great place to chill and hang out especially when they had the carshows but since the skate park got removed its like something left me.

Cool playground structures, ample play space for running around. The basketball court also looks decent. They would have a much better space if they kept it clean. Theres lots of littering spread around and under the structures that seems to have been there for a long time. Also, the skating structure does not seem well maintained, and the polluted stream is not fenced or protected, or well marked, the caution signs are small and way too out of sight.

Buttery Brook Park is a relatively small park with plenty of parking. Theres a fairly new play scape for children. Im not sure if it is operational, but there is a spray park as well. A short walk through the woods is on the south side of the park. There are also picnic tables under a pavilion. Nice little place for all the family.

The cruise night was fun.

Great spray park! Playground, swings and sand pit all inclosed in the same area. Cant wait for the trees to grow some more for a little more shade.

Nice place to rest on a ride

Grandson enjoyed the park, but kind of dirty.. Parents and kids these day figure someone else will pick up after them. The lazy generation (or our stupid generation!??). clothes, flip flops, DD cup and of course disgusting people who smoke and dont think of others!!

Great place for the family picnic birthdays. Lots for the kids to do. There is a play area for the kids. It has a tennis court. And I believe a basketball court. Very serene

Its a very nice part, nice peaceful atmosphere.

PRO: The pickleball courts are nice. CON: There is so many people you will end up waiting between everytime you play because you have to take turns due to the long line.

I went with my friend to butter brook park in South Hadley mass and I was very impressed with how the employees keep the park clean and the playground equipment repaired and safe for kids to play and theres a stage for performances during the summer and hiking trails, picnic tables, and grills and I was very impressed with how safe the park is for families to bring there kids and its peace and quiet and I would go back there again and I would recommend butter brook park in South Hadley mass to everyone to go to .

Nice playground. Found trash in few corners but overall good. Not crowded and mask is required even though not many were wearing one.

Usually a pretty low-key spot to hang with the kids. Spray park is nice & the basketball court is a good one - though it is out by the road. The actual park is nice too, lots of lush green grass and shade. It does get buggy there so bring some spray

My 4yr old.loves the place... theres not much seating for parents with a visual of park but over all the merry go round is cool they have baby swings that you and baby can ride and a water park from 10-2 ... there a sand box and options for big kids too

Clean and safe playground

Buttery Brook at one time was an Idyllic place where children could play in the woods, families could picnic, there were exotic birds, deer and some farm animals to view and feed. The woods are overgrown, the animals are gone, their coops and sheds in ruin, the pavilions and remaining structures in disrepair and in need of paint. The stream that bisects the field is toxic. Sad!

This is a great spray park but not a lot of shade. I think this is better for children ages 6 to 10 years old because the equipment is spread out and a lot of the equipment is very high up. There are baby swings that allow you to swing with your baby and that is really cool.

Skatepark is lots of fun with your pals but needs alot of repairs

There is parking and it is not too close to busy traffic. The equipment is all well functioning. There are nice bathroom. Really a charming place.

Nicest place of 3 that I went to inspect for my Grandsons joy today. A few low spots were flooded due to todays heavy rains, but otherwise, very nice and clean and well kept.

Great little quiet park for the kids. The splash pad & play equipment share same play area all enclosed a fence to make monitoring the kids easy.

Two playgrounds with a large rope-climbing apparatus, sand box, splash park, large grass field, picnic areas with charcoal grills, basketball court, skate park, and small wooded areas to explore. In the winter they have Santas cabin to take pictures with the kids in the log cabin with free tractor rides to see a small arrangement of Christmas lights.
