Worst tavern experiance ever. Terrible service.

Had an amazing time with my good friend at her surprise birthday party with a group of friends. The waitress was great, amazing personality and friendly and still professional. Had the steak and potatoes and green beans which was really good. I will be going back for the Pierogi Burger next time. Thank you for the amazing service and friendly wait staff.

Great food and service

We ate dinner in this restaurant today because we saw the good reviews. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The appetizer was awful, and you could tell it was frozen. It came in so fast. I also noticed that peoples food came so fast, as well. Maybe thats why it was cold when we ordered soups and coffee. Sadly, we wont come back again. We sat at the bar. The service was ok, but nothing to brag about. Like a previous reviewer, the atmosphere is the only good thing we experienced.

Our waitress Ashley B. was perfect. We both got personal pizzas and enjoyed them.

Excellent food and service. Went for lunch with my wife. The calamari appetizer was the most flavorful and best we have ever had. First time visiting the area. Great location with a variety of shops nearby.

Marco and his entire staff, including our server Rachel, went truly over and above incredible service for our staff appreciation dinner. Marco was the first restaueant managee/chef that we spoke wirh who was ready, willinf, and able to help us plan a full buffet dinner after a big event. All other restaurants rhat we called were either not open on a Sunday or unwilling to take a reservation for 20+ people. Marco not only readily agreed, bit helped us plan an allergy friendly meal. We felt completely cared for. Dietary restrictions: Easily helped with gluten free options and swapped out a salad for someone who was allergic to chickpeas!

Food was delicious and portions generous. Nice cocktail and beer selection. Outside patio was perfect on a beautiful Fall Night. Service could have definitely been better. Started off good. Both of us got our drinks but after that forget it. Our waitress served the food and never once came back and asked how everything was. She also forgot to bring our second round of drinks. Food delicious. Service not so hot.

Went early on a Sunday to avoid crowds, had reservation and were seated promptly. Very personable and efficient waiter. Food was great all around except the Pirogi Burger which was just a bit weird. Recommend the Steak Salad and the Chop Chop salad.

First time visiting today. Read mixed reviews BUT HAPPY to report, it was a great little place. Service was friendly and attentive. Food came our timely and eas yummy. Strongly recommend Crazy Alfredo and the Pastrami sandwich. They have a large beer menu. 24 to be exact. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. We will be back!

Bring back the artichoke dip! Salads could be better. Burgers are good and beers too.

The Yarde Tavern is located in the center area of South Hadley. Lots to do around! During the summer, they have a Thursday concert series. Parking can be tricky because there s not that many spots in the rear. You can try street parking. The food portions are huge with such affordable prices.

We had a family catch up . The Prime rib was awesome it melted on your mouth and was cooked to perfection. The server who looked after us was super friendly and feel bad I can t remember his name

Stopped in to relax and have a few drinks after work. Today was the anniversary of a friend of mine who passed away 11 years ago. Emma B was my bartender and she was amazing. She was attentive to the people at the bar and made awesome drinks. Ive been there a few times in the past but this was the 1st time being here in a few years. She did an amazing job and highly recommend checking the Yarde Tavern Out

Go for nachos and a cocktail and sit outside. Good live music and setting outside on Friday nights is great and relaxing

The food was delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the quiet square. The musician was very nice. But sadly, we only saw our server when she took our order and when we requested our check from the host.

It was wonderful to enjoy our lunch on the patio, and our server was attentive, but my veggie burger was very disappointing. First, it was supposed to be served on a brioche bun but instead was servrd on a mediocre hamburger bun. Second , the burger was mush that had to be eaten with a fork. My husband ordered the whole belly clams, which he enjoyed.. Oh well.

We so appreciate the great food, ambience, and accommodation we received at our birthday celebration. Special thanks to Casey, Logan, and the staff for meeting all our needs, and even retrieving balloons that got away from the kids! Wonderful and highly recommended!

Foods pretty good but can get loud from tables being very close together and acoustics being wonky.. wife and I had fun cupping our hands behind our ears to have a conversation ... live music is very nice though! Hostess forgot to assign us a server and we waited at the table an additional 30 minutes on a busy night

Had a wonderful dining experience. My wife and I went shortly after they opened. Plenty of seating. Our server was pleasant & helpful with recommendations on popular meals. Food was delicious. As an added bonus there was live entertainment that started at 6:00. Highly recommend for casual dining.

Great beer selection and the menu has some very good selections.

They were very accommodating even though we had a group of 25. The waitstaff was pleasant and took good care of us. Tje food was great and we all had an enjoyable evening. Parking is a bit tight.

First time for us. Forgot to take pics of food but it was good. Hamburgers were good. Was a little undercooked for one person (asked for med. and got rare). Caesar salad was great..unfortunately out of anchovies so got chicken instead. It was very good. Have never been there before but should we be in that area again we would return for sure. Ive eaten here a few times, and normally love it. This visit was disappointing. It was very slow, and the waitress only checked with us once. The pen we were given to sign the check was dried out, luckily I had my own. I only mention it because we couldnt find anyone. We saw both waitresses sitting in another room texting when we left.

Great tavern with a nice cozy feel and great food. We had the Mahi tacos, cheeseburger spring rolls, for apps and the fried chicken sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. Everything was great. I want to get back and try the steak tips.

Had a great Reuben & a flight of really good beers. They had a guitar player who was really good. Ive enjoyed my last couple meals here.

Food was delicious but service was disappointing. We placed an appetizer and the waitress didnt check in on once until about 20-25min after we received it. We were ready to order shortly after we placed the app. She would go to the table right next to us but did not check in to see if we needed anything else. We wished the service had been better, it would have been a more pleasant experience. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch wrap and fish and chips for entrees, spinach and artichoke dip for an app.

Excellent meal my bf and I just enjoyed! Such a fresh good size Caesar Salad for the price and the dressing is bomb, we could not finish it..the pic is leftovers! I got the cheeseburger eggrolls, very hearty could only eat 1, fried in a clean good oil, very full of yumminess inside! My bf got the Tavern burger.. omg the size of the burger!!! Such a beautifully put together sandwich that came with fresh seasoned fries that are amazing!! For $45 honestly the best so far! Keep up the good work! Thank you for a delightful meal! Parking: A few spots on the street otherwise a decent lot in the back.

I called them to ask for a table, and they said first come, first serve...I drove there, and they receptionist said the kitchen is backed up and we were asked to turn people away... what kind of restaurant???? Saturday 6 pm you turn people away..... stupid business

BEWARE! Our server ripped us off! We waited 40 minutes for our food, which was just okay, while other tables that were seated after us got served. Our server was the absolute worst, and she knew it because we paid in cash, and she never returned with our change!!! She gave herself a 36% tip for lousy service!! I am outraged. When we asked about what happened, no one had an answer. She literally could not be found. We were in a hurry for a Mount Holyoke concert, which is why we paid in cash, to speed things along. As it was we had to scarf down the food, and didn t have time to even finish our meal. There didn t seem to be a manager around, and no one cared about how long we waited or that we were basically robbed! I will never go back here again.

Food was really good but service wasnt good at all. The waiter didnt even bring over the salad we had ordered. He rarely came back. He wasnt the only waiter that didnt bring stuff to their table. The other waiter working also didnt bring the table next to ours the correct items either.

Food was good waiter took order never came back food brought by other staff. Never brought salad that was ordered. Brought bill and take home containers that was it.

In my opinion the atmosphere is what The Yarde Tavern has the best to offer. We sat down outside and had some drinks, the server was good. Parking your car could be a little tricky, but what disappointed us was the food, first the kitchen forgot my order but the restaurant wasn t busy at that time, second our meals didn t have any flavor, we all didn t finish our meals. Like I said in the beginning, you pay for the atmosphere. I would probably be back for the drinks but not for the food.

Yarde Tavern is a great spot with an awesome atmosphere. The wait staff are really good too. I gave the food 4 stars because everything cost extra. The entrees and sandwiches dont come with anything. Super annoying...otherwise, the food is pretty good.

Happened upon this restaurant on a whim. Our waitress, Maddie, was exceptional!!!!! She completely interacted with my niece, who is also Maddie, and was genuinely amazing!!! The food was great. We ordered mac and cheese, chili and a salad. The mac and cheese was delicious and such huge portions!!! The chili was fantastic, so good that next time Im in Massachusetts Im coming back!!! The atmosphere was great as well as the other patrons!!! No complaints from this new yorker!!!!

Love Yarde Tavern. Visit often. Will continue to do so. BUT a huge - no charge - to the cookers, chefs ?? Do not mess with expectations or traditional items. Have at it with experiments, but let the patron know. Lobster roll? Lobster, celery, and mayo. The end. Skip the old bay seasoning. Did not taste v like any lobster roll ever.

Had lunch with friends today. Roasted Brussels sprouts with balsamic glaze, Cobb salad, steak & cheese sub, salad with beef tenderloins. Everything was excellent! Service was great. If there is a negative.... Mens room could use a complete makeover. Not that clean and towel dispenser falling off the wall.

The food was just ok. My lobster BLT came without the bacon and one piece of lettuce. But what got me that I paid cash and the restaurant rounded the bill up for thirty- six cents. I m old school I guess but felt penalized for using cash. I thought restaurants preferred that to a credit card which they pay a fee. The server wasn t sure if she even gave me the correct change. I can only assume the cashier has no more skills than the cook.

Food was amazing

Overall a decent place to eat but some meals better than others. Ate there two weeks ago and ordered the whole belly claims. First bite was full of shells. Small, dangerous for your teeth, pieces. 2nd and 3rd claims were very good. 4th one... Was once again full of shells pieces. Sent the meal back and got something else. Overall a disappointment. Went back this weekend and tried the clam chowder. Not sure why it was called clam chowder when it has no clams in it. Perhaps they were afraid of the previous visits shell incident??? (Probably not...). Overall an ok restaurant but cant recommend the clam dishes. Their steak tips are pretty good. Would give it 3 1/2 stars if that were an option. But since its not... Its a 3.

The food was really good. My husband got the chicken wrap, which he said was one of the best ones hes ever had. I had their Vermonter, which is a maple turkey burger. It was one of the best things Ive had to eat in a long time. I also ordered a blueberry ale which came with fresh blueberries in the glass when they served it. Cute modern cabin-like vibe inside. We will be coming back again.

We just discovered this restaurant a month ago from traveling up from CT. It was amazing! Food was great, server was brand new but amazing and it was such a great time. During that visit, they had just opened for the day. Yesterday, we were in the area again and decided to go back to have dinner. Bad choice. We were seated in the dining room portion of the restaurant- which was fine -until a party of 18 guests arrived! It was a party! Kids & adults who were SO loud. We were the only other table in there and we couldnt talk to each other cause we couldnt hear one another. Our waitress was slow, we were her only table indoors - all her others were outside so we went unnoticed often. The food this time around was definitely not as good as the first time. My daughters hamburger was burnt, my husbands dinner which was just a chicken sandwich was completely wrong - it looked like he was given meatloaf on a bun, and I got the New England Clam Chowder..... ummm - no, just no. This chowder was so watered down it was like clam broth. Definitely not the rich and creamy chowder us New Englanders love. It was just a disaster this time around. We had to keep waving down other waitstaff or the hostess to help us or track down our waitress. We actually gave her our credit card before seeing the bill cause we knew it would be another 15 mins before we saw her again. All and all if you want to try this place - go when they are not busy. Otherwise- Good Luck!

I love this place. My wife and I come here every couple of months and it never disappoints. The staff is always super friendly, the food does not miss, and the outdoor seating is a great plus in the summer. Theres also usually live music either inside and/or outside, at least on Saturdays, which is a nice bonus! Keep up the good work!

It was my first time there, and everything was perfect .

I love this place. Everything has been great. The people, service, and food have all been really good. This past visit we just got sandwiches and salads ( buffalo chicken salad, arugula beet salad, a burger and a Reuben) everything was prepared well and tasted great. And the prices were not bad at all.

Literally had to show the manager how tough the pulled pork was, drinks and service were fine but overall experience was not great, maybe the atmosphere just wasn t for me but I found the manager to be kind of dismissive of the general issues I described. Probably won t ever go back, I ve made pulled pork from the Jack Daniel s packages that was better, girl got a steak and cheese and she hardly ever complains at restaurants and even she said her food was basically dog meat. Waitress was nice though. Also the parking lot at night is pretty sketchy, hard pass on the whole thing to be honest.

Ate outside. A little noisy, but ok. No too many vegetarian choices. Waitstaff friendly and low pressure.

Outdoor dining is my preference, but indoor is nice as well. Bar side is a great place to chill and drink and listen to whoever is playing on stage that night. Bands always locals or semi locals, very good vibes! Food is very good as well! Vegetarian options: The chef/wait staff will accomodate any dietary restrictions.

Unfortunately, the yard tavern in my town is a nice restaurant but the food has gone downhill. I ordered a steak and cheese grinder which came out dry minimal cheese. Obvious that it had just been reheated. Otherwise the cheese would have still been melted on the meat. My friend ordered nachos same situation. Both meals look like they had been sitting and thrown in a microwave. I did send it back and replaced it with a chopped salad which was great, but unfortunately anytime I try to eat anything else there other than the chopped salad lately has been at best loan food and for what theyre charging its very sad.

Had lunch and started off with the bowl of chilli it was delicious and had a good bite to it . My wife ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger with sweet potato fries and I had the steak and cheese grinder with mushrooms and peppers along with the sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Everything was delicious and gave you more than enough. Thanks Marco for a great lunch. The waitress was very polite and there for any drinks or extras that we needed, thank you!

Walked up to be seated and we weren t happily greeted or really spoken to. The waitress we had was very nice and helpful though which was a nice turnaround! I will say the drinks aren t really strong for the price, but were good. The food was great everything was hot and well portioned. Bathrooms were clean which was nice. Would definitely consider coming back!

They forgot our order and when we finally got our food, it was wrong. The table next to us got up and left because they never got a server after waiting 20 minutes or so. It was a 2 hour lunch. The server did her best to apologize but after everything didnt even discount our order. Will not return.

BBQ pork sandwich was very good. Burger was big and cooked just the way we asked for it. Live music in bar was just ok. Service was a little slow, but the place was really busy, so that was understandable.

Still love this spot, sitting outside is wonderful. The food is always excellent and the portions are great! Only downfall with this trip.. my favorite salad with their homemade humus is not on the summer menu.

First time visiting this tavern and will likely return. The parking is behind the building and down a hill. The parking in the area can be tricky as this is right next to a housing complex. There are a few street side parking spots out front, just be careful as its a busy corner. Atmosphere is great and the place is nicely decorated. Well maintained pine floors and updated paint and wall tiles compared to other locations in the area. There is an outdoor patio, but it was raining during our visit so the patio was closed. Food was fantastic! Pretzel sticks were awesome. Nice and hot, freshly made and the beer cheese sauce was well done. Steak and cheese had a black pepper bit. The sandwich came out nicely, but after a bit the bun does get soggy but they provide a nice steak knife to help you out. Fries spot on. The husband had the chicken and waffles and appreciated the chicken portion. The waffles had just a hint of sweet from the maple, but nothing over powering. He also enjoyed picking some favorites for his beer flight. Two points for consideration, our waitress never offered refills and the bathrooms were tiny. Nothing bad, just tooks away from the experience.

I wish I could ve given this a zero star. In all my life I ve never had such a bad restaurant experience. From the customer service to the raw meat we were served. Off the bat the waitress (she says she s a manger but that s hard to believe) with the whiney voice was so dry and rude. She was throwing one of the other servers under the bus to us for not getting some fries out quick which was so unprofessional, incredibly immature and just unnecessary. Any time we had an issue she got confrontational and acted like a 13 year old brat. My family and I have been in the food industry all our lives. I never thought I d have a pull a Karen and ask for two managers. We re very appreciative for food workers and usually we bite our tongues if there are small issues but this experience was just different. After being served raw steak, coleslaw my grandfather spit out, and flat soda we were just ready to get out there. We let the waitress know it was rare and she was so rude about it. It s your responsibility to let us know these things earlier it s the restaurants responsibility to not serve raw steak. The waitress then brought over the bill and said the steak would be half off .. that s when I had to ask for another manger. The second manger was extremely professional and although I believe more should ve been taken off the bill for the terrible experience he took off the steak and apologized to us. I m not sure who this waitress is but I m sorry to anyone in the future who has her. She d be fired in my restaurant day one. She s a grown women. I would be embarrassed if I was her. She ruined my sisters graduation dinner but hey it was memorable for sure. Would ve been a nice tip too. We re generous. It sucks because two people at my table were saying how great this place was the last time they went here but this was just terrible. I d love to get in contact with the owner of this restaurant because this was truly the worst restaurant experience I ve had. I m a local in this community and I ll be sure to tell all my friends, family and clients to stay away from this place or at least stay away from that server. If you can t handle customer service find a job that you don t have to communicate with people. It s part of the job. I m sorry to the good people who work at this restaurant for having to work with her and have to listen to that whiney voice ..very disappointed

We waited a long time for them to take our order. Once they took our order we told them we had food sensitivities and need no cheese. They took forever to bring out food covered in cheese and super burnt. We sent it back. The second serving was totally tasteless, missing other toppings besides cheese, and not burnt but practically raw. The alcoholic beverages were tasty but super weak. Do not recommend. Will not be going back. Dietary restrictions: We ordered our items without cheese and told the server two times that we had lactose intolerance and could not have any dairy. They brought us out a burger covered in cheese that had to be brought back to the kitchen (after having waited a long time for our order to be taken in the first place then for the first one to come out). The second burger had no cheese AND no other toppings -- no lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, nothing besides the meat and the bread.

Our server was sl ok w and not so attentive. Mixed opinions on meals....I enjoyed the sirloin tips but my husbands rib eye was less than par. Was thrilled Iron Dukes Juneau was on tap. Live music did make for a nice patio experience.

The calamari were very good & a generous portion but there were about 1/4 of them that looked a bit burnt. I got a side of sweet potato fries & had to search through burnt ones just to get about 6. I did takeout. I was too tired to return them. My recommendation would be to check your order before leaving the restaurant!!!

We have been to the Tavern twice . The first time about a month ago with friends . We enjoyed it very much . Food was great and the staff could not have been better . We decided to go back this week with other friends and we were all VERY disappointed in the place . The waitress was rude and got several items wrong . No salt on my margarita, two of us the the Reuben sandwich and we all said it didnt have any dressing on it , or very little. As I looked closer I realized there was no sauerkraut on it . When the waitress was told she just shrugged her shoulders and took our cheeks . So sorry we wont return .

My husband and I had dinner at the Yarde Tavern in South Hadley, MA. It was our first visit. We arrived around 5:30 and waited for about 30 minutes to get a table on their beautiful patio. It was worth the wait. Our server, Stephan A. was awesome. He was very energetic, enthusiastic, attentive, prompt and made a great suggestion for a beer choice. We really appreciated his friendly style. The food was really good. Everything was nice and hot. My husband had a Tavern burger and an IPA. I had a veggie burger with a dark Nut Brown beer. The veggie burger was delicious and definitely made in-house. The beer was the perfect pairing. By 7:00 there were 5 open tables on the patio so a little later is better. There is parking on the street and behind the building. We will return! Thanks Stephan!

First, best salad I ve ever had. Second, best server ever. Stephan was so kind, attentive, and outgoing. He had a wonderful personality and was personable to each and every table he had.

I had a really great night tonight the food here was amazing. I am vegetarian and my server Stephen A was amazing, funny, charismatic and helped accommodate all my needs. I had the Cajun Alfredo with no chicken and it was amazing. The new fall cocktail menu was awesome.

Went here for the first time since the building has changed hands while back home visiting family. Sister and I stopped for lunch and ate bar side. Excellent selection of cocktails and beers. The bar tender was awesome - super friendly, personable, and quick to grab our orders. Food was out fast and of super quality and flavor. Their reuben is delicious and done to perfection along with their house made potato chips with just the perfect crisp and hint of BBQ flavor.

Came in with family and was seated, sat down for over 10 minutes and no one even acknowledged or brought us water. One of the worst experiences ever! Never going back!

Went with 4 people they had plenty of tables open, all the staff was talking and not doing there job. Never even got water waited 15 minutes and not one person came by to even acknowledge us. Than we left. Do Not Waste Your Money Here.

Wasnt busy but food took a long time to get to the table. The atmosphere is nice but the food and wait is not worth it.

Celebrated a birthday party and the service was excellent. Casey and Lindsay were so helpful. Casey set up our decorations, cake table and had our pre-ordered appetizers served right on time. Lindsay always had a smile for us in serving our needy large group! We had a great dinner. Thank you!

The wait staff was amazing. Very attentive and so kind to me and my children during a family Christmas event. They made sure to attend to all of our needs and were truly so pleasant. Especially with my little toddler running around. I want to thank them all for their hard work and showing such kindness. It doesnt go unnoticed.

This place was terrible, the menu sucked and it had a horrible smell/odor inside the establishment and the odor was not pleasant.

Food was only topped by the service! Truly enjoyed our stop here on our road trip. Prices are very affordable and the quality is quite high. The dining room was nicely decorated and we were able to have a conversation at regular volume.

Really like Thursday night Moose music. The Clam Chowder was good too and served quickly.

My wife and I had salads in which were huge. Neither of us could finish them. Cozy atmosphere in great service, lots of parking. Nice location to walk around and window shop.

Service was meh. We only saw our own waitress at order time and when it was time for the bill. Took 25 mins after ordering to even get our side salads. The steak tips were delicious but the ahi Tuna tacos were bland. Nice atmosphere

Great food, served by super polite and attentive staff! Family came in from the West Coast and we absentmindedly stayed way past closing. Saff didnt object one bit, kept checking in on us, but never once told us they were closed. Cant say enough good things about the Yarde Tavern! Thank you!

Meatloaf was excellent. Sweet potato fries... absolutely phenomenal. Our server, Stephen, with his charismatic & witty antics, set the tone for an eventful Friday evening. Somebody please give this man a raise. Would give 6 stars if Google would let me.

Had takeout so cant comment on atmosphere. Place was zooming with social distance tabling. Food was excellent. Service friendly and caring staff. Near the college.

Had dinner Saturday night to celebrate a birthday. Getting in and seated was easy, no wait at all. From there the experience went downhill. Took waitress 10 minutes to take our drink order and almost another ten minutes to bring those, mind you two of us had just water. Took our appetizer and dinner orders, 23 mins later appetizers arrive and main meal arrived literally two minutes after that, making us feel like we were being rushed. At this point we still had no silverware to eat with and locating our waitress turned out to be a job in of itself, so one of our party went and got some themselves. My wife ordered the pork chop and ravioli meal, it was pink ¾ of the way through, at this point waitress had not been back to our section let alone even bothered to check on us. When she did come by, we informed her of the pork chop to which we received an apology for it and offered a replacement. Waited another 15 minutes to get our check, and when the waitress came with it made sure she let us know she took the meal off. Any restaurant Ive ever been too, a manager at least comes over and apologizes and speaks to the customer, here it seems like doing that would be beneath them. Overall food was mediocre at best and service was terrible, we wont be dining there again!

Nice food and good service will be back

Without question the Yarde Tavern has the best outdoor seating in the lower valley. When the days get warmer there is nothing better than having a drink and their Calamari. It is literally the best I have had. Burgers are big and juicy.

Excellent service and amazing food

Loved this spot. Great atmosphere, good drinks, good prices and omG the Chipotle mac&cheese to die for! Sam was our server and she was very attentive and knowledgeable. She was sweet and made our experience better! Definitely visiting again.

Nice food great service

Waitress was very nice but appeared distracted, drinks were incorrect, food was incorrect but very good so we were fine with it. Fried mozzarella which is typically very good was fried with some sort of fish as it had a fish taste.

Out of the 8 of us 6 were extremely happy with our meals . The other 2 not so much. Drinks were great service fast and friendly. But the calamari awful . Way to spicy was un eat able. But lets talk about the other 6 . Everything ordered was delicious.

When its date night, we like to go somewhere nice. They have yet to let b us down here. They have live music Thursday though Sunday and the staff is incredible.

Food was excellent

I had high expectations for this place and maybe if I could have sampled the beer, I would have a different opinion. They had what looked like a lot of great choices, but I was driving, so didnt have any. The food was fairly good, but nothing spectacular. We had the pretzel grilled cheese which was just so so. It was already getting cold when we got it, after having waited a LONG time for our food. The onion rings were good. The tomato soup was like tomato puree with chunks, and tasted like something you just poured out of a can. The table was so sticky that my phone stuck to the table, and the floors and drink stations were dirty. No one told us we had to get our own drinks, so we sat for a long time wondering how to get water. They dont really have waiters anymore, so theres no one to ask anything of. And even though its a sit-down restaurant, you have to bus your own table. I know restaurants are struggling to get staff and just recovering from Covid, but to not even be welcoming or helpful, that is really disappointing. I would not really go back.

We came at the end of lunch and had lots of time to chat. I had a giant salad and it was just right. Staff was lovely, parking easy.

The food is insanely over priced and frankly worse than even a half decent 99 restaurant. They couldnt even get drinks right. And I dont mean mixed drinks at the bar, I mean a diet coke from the tap. The only reason this gets a 2 star and not a 1, is because the restaurant was very clean and the wait staff was polite.

Had a flight, wings, Cajun pasta and dessert. Everything was great and the server was very attentive.

Loaded calamari was definitely good, my Italian panini wasnt, the chicken was sliced from a large breast, I got the unseasoned inside, the tomato and onion were bland, the basil was straight up rotten. The bread from the panini tasted like butter flavored nonstick spray.

Food was so good! I love that they make their own chips! I recommend the turkey club wrap, but if you don t like spicy food then ask for it without the sauce. I made that mistake and it was very spicy! Even though it was spicy I ate it and still highly recommend it!

Service wasnt as fast as it should have been. Appetizer came out before our beers or even waters. I know everyone is short staffed! Patio is great and food was good!!

We had not been here since Covid started.We returned for lunch today with friends and it did not dissapoint !Food and service was excellent.My friends who had never been before cant wait to return with their husbands We will also be back soon!

Very good service and the food was excellent and fairly priced. We ate outside on the patio and the biggest problem was the bees flying around.

Very friendly staff (all of them). I went three times in the same week with different friends. First time, I sat inside; the second, outside and, the third, ordered to-go. Great experience. Good value for the food. I sat at the bar while waiting for my order. The lady at the bar is EXCELLENT AND EFFICIENT. She managed the phone, took the to-go orders, serve the patrons at the bar and prepare drinks for the servers, etc. I ordered the 1. NY steak (delicious), 2. Baked cod (ok) and the 3. Cobb salad (good). Will definitely go back.

They have the best Bourbon Sirloin Tips ever. The vibe is perfect with chill lights and a small band on Thursday night. Everything is perfectly cooked. The waitress are really friendly and nice. Probably my new favorite spot for a date! Highly recommend!

I had the fried fish. Fish was good. French fries not hot. Fellow diner had pulled pork sandwich, was good. Ordered sweet potato fries, got regular fries, not hot either. Expensive lunch with no drinks. Park is in back, down a hill.

Very good food and wait staff. Live music some nights and outdoor seating. Recommend chopped salad or fish and chips. They used to serve a really good beet salad but it wasnt on the menu this time.

Mostly the food I have eaten there is awesome, but today I was excited because they have lobster rolls. Here is a couple of examples where it went wrong: no roll at all, they used a brioche bun instead, and the lobster itself had no flavor at all, and all I could taste was how briny it was. The only thing I enjoyed about my meal was the sweet potato fries!!!!! I always get those when I go there. I paid 26 bucks for a unenjoyable meal that was $25.41. I would suggest not getting a lobster roll from there you will be dissatisfied. Other than that, I love The Yarde Tavern, and love performing there.

Great outdoor patio with live music. Tables are spread way apart and cleaned with disinfectant between each change over. Menu is digital and you must have a cell phone to view it. You can get drinks while you wait for a table and bring them out to the grass at the Post Office. The food was really delicious!! Ribeye and Lobster Ravioli. Yum!!
