I’ve called a couple times and no one answers. i ended up going inside and talked to a guy and he gave me a card to contact kourtney. she took 3 days to respond. i responded back and it’s been a week and a half and still no contact back. i was really looking forward to trying the gym out!
This place has been the best experience for me as I get back into working out consistently. It’s definitely a true “no judgement zone,” which makes it comfortable and super easy & motivating to keep coming back. The instructors are kind, fun, and helpful- tailoring work outs to each individual as needed. They’re thoughtful about injuries and ensuring everyone is getting what they need. The classes are perfect for keeping motivation up and not having to think about the workout - they’re made for you! Just show up! I’ve loved making this a part of my routine. Thanks Soul Train team.
This gym turned my life around. Before I would go to gyms inconsistently and do the same 2 moves because it was the only thing I knew how to do. In 3 years I complete changed. I feel confident around kettlebells dumbbells, battle ropes and barbells. Everyday thing that would leave me breathless or fatigued don't anymore. I feel good about my body and my mental health. The community at the gym is incredibly supportive and caring. This was the gym where I made my first friend when I moved to the area. If you are new (or newish) to fitness, want a space where you feel you can come consistently, learn more and get stronger I highly recommend. Some of my personal favorite classes are Saturday morning Tabata and pop pilates Mondays and Fridays.
Fantastic fitness studio. I was there for just two months over the summer and I really enjoyed it. I would go daily! They have wonderful classes for all fitness levels, spread throughout the day. Very clean studio with knowledgeable and friendly instructors. In general, it was very friendly among the trainees too. It felt like a community. It was one of my favorite parts during my two-month stay in the Boston area and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Even within that short time frame, I could see that I built strength and endurance.
I have never really worked out before unless I had to, but ever since moving to New England I wanted to be healthier, stronger, and establish a workout routine for myself. For a few years, I tried a lot of different types of workouts including running, at home workouts, and chain gyms; however, I could never stick to anything because I got bored with them. I knew I needed to find a gym that was challenging, varied their workouts, and had a community feel in which I could get the accountability I needed to stick to a workout, which is where Soul.Train. Fitness came in. After a week trial period, I knew that Soul.Train was for me. I started off with small group sessions for strength training and to get to know the trainers, then during the pandemic I started increasing the frequency of my workouts with team trainings. All the trainers are so nice and encouraging – I enjoy chatting with them every class! I continue to get stronger every day and I feel the best I ever have since joining Soul.Train!
I love the team at Soul Train! I have been to so many gyms which don't actually understand people's needs, know how to motivate them, or provide them with the necessary help and support. I was so happy to find a gym that does all of that and more! The trainers are knowledgeable, understanding, and motivating. There is a definite sense of community here (in the gym and out), which provides an amazing sense of teamwork & camaraderie. In addition, the workouts switch up constantly to focus on strength and cardio. I can't say enough good things about Kourtney, Jonathan, and the rest of the team at Soul Train! Run there now...literally.
It took me a while to find the right path for my fitness journey. I tried to do the traditional gym membership where I paid some small monthly fee, only to find that I went there *occasionally*, until I went *never*. I tried to get home workout equipment, telling myself I would definitely workout on my own. What I failed to realize is that I needed accountability, I craved community, and I benefit from someone telling me what to do, with a set schedule. I had walked by the Soul.Train studio for two whole years before I walked in, and after two years of being an active member, I cannot say enough great things about them. The community is warm and welcoming, including the trainers who are knowledgeable and encouraging; the workouts are diverse and fun and challenging at whatever level you're on. It's a gym for every body, no matter where you are in your journey, or what your goals are. It has officially been a year of working and exercising from home, and Soul.Train has been with me every step of the way as they quickly pivoted to live Zoom classes in light of the shut down (it's the only one a truly look forward to). They have become such an important part of my routine; I don't know what I'd do without them, especially now! If you want to invest in yourself and move your body with a great group of humans, you should join Soul.Train.
Absolutely love this gym! I was a member at a different gym chain for years, but was never as inspired to go workout like I am here. It makes such a difference to have trainers who bring you through various targeted routines, correct your form as needed, and motivate you to dig deep. I've only been going for a few months and I'm already seeing results. Customer service here is also unlike any other. When I misunderstood the terms of my contract, the owner Jonathan was more than happy to adjust it to something that better suited my needs. The trainers are amazing, and the variety of classes and scheduling allow you to easily customize your workouts for the week. If you're looking for a rewarding gym environment I highly suggest you check it out!
