303 Lakeshore Dr, Sandisfield, MA 01255, United States
Very nice lake where residents of Otis Woodlands father often in the summertime. Right next to a playground and field, and a short walks distance from the pool and clubhouse. The lake is nice to swim in or use kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, etc. (no motorized vehicles). There are small fish present in the swimming area from time to time and some larger ones further out. There are also snapping turtles present in the lake but they’re nothing to be worried about. In the swimming area there’s a small dock that you can swim out to. There’s another dock that extends from the land. People store kayaks and such along racks , I believe that you need to sign up for a spot on the racks.
Love this place
Wonderful place to relax and enjoy!
This is the gem of the Otis Woodlands private community. It's really a pond because of its size (under 100 acres) but is great for kayaking or canoeing. It also has a roped-off area for swimming and a beach. It's well-maintained and a treat for Otis Wood Lands' residents, especially Lakefest in the summer!
