Went in on a Wednesday and picked out 2 bikes I wanted to purchase. I did not have bike I wanted to trade with me so my name was placed on bikes and it was discussed I could pick them up Friday am and they would be " ready to go". Friday morning I was told I could come back in several hours because they needed to lube chains, air tires, and transfer over a kick stand. No other customers were in store. This takes 10 minutes tops. Appeared there was low interest in helping me. Got home took bikes for quick ride and notice front rotor was bent and dragging on caliper and derailleur not shifting like it should. Took it to a reputable shop and found both front and rear brakes not straight. pedal was less than hand tight ( would have fallen off on first trail ride). derailleur hanger not straight, front air fork was never set for my weight per the chart on it, chain was dry, etc. Also they claim a mechanic test rides bikes. Well when I rode bike on Wednesday the shifter lever was hitting grip and not re-setting. Didn't take a bike tech to notice that. My take away is there is a huge lack of attention to detail or whatever " passion" for cycling these folks had is long gone.

I went in and got my brakes fixed very nice guy, reliable straightforward. I’m very happy with the work. He will be my new bicycle mechanic for my bicycle needs.

I have spent money buying parts, as well as paying for service to repair (tightening parts) on my son‘s bike. I’m charged labor and for some reason the bike is never up to par. I should mention my son‘s bike has been to the shop multiple times because I was giving him the benefit of the doubt .There’s always something that comes back loose, even though I’m being charged to repair the bike. The bike always has to stay a day and be picked up the following day because service is never on the spot, which adds to my frustration because why can’t he do repairs effectively if he’s not being rushed to do the repairs. It seems as though he likes to rip off teenagers that go to him for assistance. I do not recommend getting your bike repaired or serviced at this bike shop. Also, if you purchase a bike already assembled from this dude, I would recommend taking it to another bike shop to make sure that he didn’t leave anything loose. He’ll have you go back to get charged to tighten it again. Scammer. Update: In response to the “PPB’s” response, I took my son‘s bike to Fat Trax in East Longmeadow and they repaired my son‘s bike in a timely manner. He’s had no issues with the bike since. In fact, they had to redo what PPG was paid to do because it wasn’t done correctly. I stand behind my original review.

I dont know where to begin. I guess I'll start with if you value your safety or your children's safety stay away from Palmer pro bike. Today my crank arm came off mid trail, few days prior my rear luggage rack fell off, mid trail. Not one drop of locktite on the rear rack bolts. Both grips are loose and spin freely. Handlebars are unevenly tightened, Rear brakes are extremely soft. Front disc is unlevel. Keep in mind this bike is barely two weeks old and only been ridden 4 times. Willing to bet that nothing on this bike is built to spec. This guy has no business building mountain bikes, he is going to get someone seriously injured or killed. I'm giving palmer pro bike 48 hours to make this right or I'm seeking legal counsel and filing a lawsuit after he tried to give me a run around about a refund and this unsafe expensive bike.

I just had my two tires changed at pro bike shop. What an excellent job they did. They changed my tires in less than a half hour. Jeff and Rich are very knowledgeable about bicycles and will answer any question you have. Give them a try. Excellent service. Thanks again

Extremely professional and on point service. These people know what they are doing. This is the go to place for recreational and seasoned bikers alike. Great for bike servicing that's kind on the pocket book. This has been my experience over years of dealing with them.

Great store with friendly owners. I have been in and out of this shop since I got my first Dyno Nitro at 12 years old. Yesterday I finalized a purchase on my first real full suspension rig. I couldn't be happier with the service, the price and the accommodations they make for their customers. Stop in and give them your time. You won't regret it.
