We were so fortunate to have Breanne as our son’s speech therapist. She is extremely knowledgeable and also has a calm and friendly personality. It is clear how much she cares about the children she works with and how passionate she is about helping families. She spent time directly working with our son and also saved time at the end of our sessions for parent questions and recap. Breanne ended up referring us to an ENT after working with us for a while, which ended up being the right call for our son. I would recommend her to anyone needing speech therapy without hesitation.
Breanne is the first therapist we met with that didn't only look at my son's deficits (including significant expressive and receptive language delays at age 3), but saw his strengths and possibilities. I am so grateful for her wisdom and clinical expertise, but also her compassion, warmth and care. Breanne has been one of the only therapists (and we've seen dozens!) to date that my son felt secure and engaged with that I could be in the next room during session. Home, play-based therapy with a caring clinician like Breanne made such a difference for my little one. And how I benefited as a parent from her insightful words of wisdom and recommendations that I could incorporate into daily life. So much so that I was inspired to seek a career in speech language pathology myself!
My three children have been working with Breanne for over 8 years. She has helped them with articulation, stuttering, processing, and literacy. We have been so fortunate to have Breanne in our corner, not only as a gifted SLP, but as a trusted and beloved adult my children have connected with and feel comfortable confiding in when they are struggling. My kids will fight working with several other tutors or specialists, but they are ALWAYS happy to see Breanne! She follows their interests, can instinctively see when they're struggling with the materials or attention and always makes the content fun, accessible and engaging for them. She is full of ideas when one approach isn't working, and always finds a way to continue making progress when the kids are in a tough period. Breanne has also served as an invaluable advocate for my children, and a professional I can always turn to for advice and encouragement.
