Synergy in Northampton

Although expensive, this shop has a great, fun selection of shoes and clothes. I wanted to buy something. I believe Synergy absolutely has a body-type bias for women's clothes. I felt unwelcome and it felt intentional and fat-phobic. I don't feel this way in a lot of stores. This is try #4 at Synergy, and you think I'm done. Familiar brands that I know do XL and XXL. Almost universally, the largest size available is L. Went through 3 or 4 racks of new arrivals, withost items appearing freshly displayed and plenty of XS, S, M, and L. This is stupid and bad, guys. L is average. This is a gross way to treat women.

I had an issue with an item I bought here last month. Unfortunately I threw away the receipt. The lady who helped me( her first name begins with an M) was incredible. I truly appreciated what she did for me.

I purchased a pair of Birkenstock's for my husbands birthday at Synergy in Northampton. I specifically asked the sales associate to help me with the size (they come in European sizes) and she got me two sizes too large. I specifically asked what the return policy is and was told with receipt - a refund and without - an exchange. Which suited me because I live 2+ hours away and wasn't sure when I could return if I should have to exchange the size. Surprise, when I tried to exchange (a few months later) the sales assoc. happily told me - sorry nothing we can do. I had the original tag on it and they had never been worn. The tag even has their store name. What a waste of my time, money and energy! Thanks for nothing.

Great selection and customer service. The whole staff was kind and helpful, and Naomi went out of their way to make our experience the best.

Very basic store full of things you could find elsewhere for less. Definitely out of my price range. I have gotten a couple things here in the last on sale, but it honestly doesn't have any real draw, so I don't see myself going back here.

Synergy is such an amazing store and we are so lucky to have it in Northampton. So much to discover - clothes, shoes, and beyond. Good for every day, for camping, and even looking cute for work. And all high quality. Plus everyone who works there is so nice and helpful.

I have always loved the products offered at Synergy, many of my favorite brands in one fun little shop. But aside from that, the customer service is what keeps me coming back. I decided to quickly pop in the other night to look for some slippers, I had my 2 year old with me which we all know how that goes... immediately, the associate engaged with my son and attempted to hold his attention while I browsed a bit. As a single mother, shopping can be a nightmare! But she totally recognized my “need” for a moment to concentrate on something for myself. She was so sweet, my son loved peek-a-boo with her and I got myself some lovely new slippers! In between peek-a-boo and silliness, she helped me find the exact color and size I needed. Thank you Synergy, you all are amazing!

Love this place! The only place that I buy shoes now because the quality and the customer service is wonderful. My wide feet have a tough time finding shoes but the owner of this place knows all of the products in the store and is very helpful and full of knowledge.
