This was a great massage. I appreciate his understanding of how the body moves and recommendations on how to move in a way that is sensitive to where I was experiencing pain. I will definitely go back again.

I had my first session with Patrick, and it exceeded my exceptions. He began with a discussion of my overall health, surgeries, current pains and expectations. During the massage (which was great), he indicated lifestyles and behaviors which have an influence on my overall physical health, and we exchanged ideas on these. After the massage, my mood was elevated for hours because the session was uplifting, both physically and mentally (spiritually?).

Patrick is a wonderful and thoughtful human. I really enjoy my conversations with Patrick and his sage like advise. Beyond that, his is one of the most talented massage therapists out there. Truly transformative experience. I highly recommend it!

Patrick Crowley is the best bodywork therapist! I've been seeing Patrick regularly for the past 1 1/2 years, and I can confidently say that he is an exceptional practitioner on so many levels! As an integrative and functional medicine physician, I've learned so much from Patrick about the integrated functioning and healing of the body, mind, and spirit. He has helped me tremendously with my chronic neck, shoulder, and hip pain, and guided me through difficult times of immense mental and emotional stress. What I love about Patrick is that he listens carefully to your story and what you are dealing with in your body, and then works with you to find new balance, relaxation, and peace. He has a wealth of knowledge about the anatomy and function of the body and can relieve strain and pain by working on parts of the body that you wouldn't expect to be related to what you're experiencing. After each session with Patrick, I always leave feeling relaxed, peaceful, and either with much less pain or pain-free! If you're in Western Massachusetts and in search of the best bodywork, I highly recommend booking a session or a series of sessions with Patrick. Your body and mind will thank you!

Patrick provides a excellent experience with his massage services, sharing in depth information about body physiology as he works. His years of study and work in massage, body movement and a myriad of other subjects make time with him a very enjoyable 90 minutes. Give him a try. You will not be disappointed.

Patrick did some stuff that seriously changed my feeling of well-being and helped me get my body back into line. I noticed I didn't want to be on my phone after the session. His approach is gentle, but with intention and skill. He really does help your alienated/painful body parts start speaking to the healthy parts again, and integrating back into the body. My arm felt like it had abandoned ship, and during the course of two sessions, he really helped me welcome the arm back into place. He certainly has healing abilities. Book with confidence.

I love Patrick's Contact Dojo classes! It feels like such a safe, stimulating and supportive atmosphere. I could listen to Patrick talk about movement all day -- it helps me make the invisible aspects of my movement visible to myself and helps me integrate and apply lessons back and forth between movement and daily life. Even when we're going over movement concepts I've been over many times, there's a freshness of presence that Patrick brings to movement and touch explorations that makes it feel new every time. Thank you Patrick!

Update 10-5-24 I often ask for a massage on my neck and shoulders which Patrick said is common but last time I asked for my knees to be juicier and Patrick really did a wonderful job. It reminded me of a healing meditation CD by Sharon Salzburg and Jon Kabat-Zinn. My knees feel so much better! Also as Patrick suggested I could massage my own feet, which reminded me of a time my ex and I took couples self-massage where we learned that the only thing we can’t do on our own is our back and Patrick said that actually you can do one half of a back at a time and it engenders self-compassion. I tried doing what he did to my knees this morning and it wasn’t bad. I also told him I’d been feeling better in the knees with my Oofos sandals which are like Skecher’s of old but a little more stable(I could run a mile in Skecher’s with sore knees in 2008:) and Patrick recommended buying the shoes. + The music he played was interesting! Update 11-4-23 Am trying to go twice a month now for my health. I never regret it. This is very good. Thanks, Patrick! Update: 6-6-22 I started back into seeing Patrick once a month(and more wouldn’t hurt)! I had a sore shoulder he really got into and loosened it up greatly. I think I realize now that what caused it might be too much screen time- not just too many downward dogs, although Patrick’s advice to go easy on a certain Yoga pose for a while was helpful. He said “Let that shoulder bounce!” ps: And use 70% effort in sports, not punish oneself. Best massage therapist in the business! Is true. Very warm, friendly but also with a physician’s outlook on anatomy and biochemistry. Which goes into all of a very holistic and natural approach to health. So very grounded but I was spacey afterwards, too, Able to drive of course!
