Jim's interest in all aspects of longevity is really helpful - from the science of aging to the importance of sleep, nutrition and balance as you age, Jim's knowledge is encyclopedic. I have also been seeing him as a trainer for over a year. Each time he varies the activities so we are always doing something new. This free lecture that a friend and I attended was quite the eye opener. Jim Lobley, teacher and trainer of The Long Game, I find you to be incredibly generous for freely sharing the things that you have learned with others to help them be informed and improve their eating. You are right to point out that this kind of change can be very difficult. Changing what and how we eat is a huge area to make changes in, as its roots go deep both culturally and nationally. You might get a little chuckle to know that my friend and I went super food shopping after the lecture. Now we are trying to make sure we consume what we bought. All in all you have awakened our consciousness!

I had never experienced such a training before. In half and hour every morning, Jim succeeds in making us work, feel good, play with a ball, relax and meditate at the same time. His method reminds me of the ancient Greek notion of movement, that was divided in 7 categories, flow, change, translation, growth, decrease, rest, inner metamorphosis. The Long Game is exceptional.

Jim is an extraordinary trainer. He has been able to pinpoint habits and imbalances that I hadn t really noticed but that were limiting my strength, balance, and flexibility. Ive been working with Jim to improve my pickleball game. He is a terrific pickleball teacher/trainer. He totally understands the game and what it takes to improve any stroke, from dinks and drop shots to lobs, serves, and top-spin ground strokes. He has a good sense of humor, is patient, and runs creative, helpful drills. His sense of body mechanics and how they relate to technical execution of shots is also excellent. Ive improved immeasurably through my lessons with Jim, and highly recommend him as a teacher for players of every skill level. No question about it Jim Lobley s Dynamic Flow Fitness is a fantastic and unique practice. In over four years, I ve never once been bored since he makes every class a new experience and through his own exploration leads each of my screenmates at whatever point they are in the Long Game. I ve now integrated this half hour routine into my own daily get up, gather, and go four times a week, sometimes as standalone, other times as a warm up for cycling or swimming. I started taking online fitness classes with Jim/The Long Game a few months ago, further to the recommendation of a friend of mine living in Massachusetts. The 30-minute online classes offer me the flexibility I need as I can register on the eve of any given class day (Tuesday to Friday). They start at 8:00am and finish at 8:30 am, perfect to get moving before a long day sitting at my desk. The soft movements engage my arms (the part I need to work most on), back and core. After each class, I feel invigorated and full of positive energy on top of getting fit. Jim is wonderful and caring and I really recommend his classes.

Jim does an admirable job of leading a group of us though our paces and gradually building up confidence, strength and competence while getting us to work with every part of our bodies in a series of workouts that allow each of is to not just exercise, but also to develop insight about ourselves and how our bodies are working. I understand everything you have taught us and have been trying to incorporate what I can slowly, so as not to overwhelm myself. But boy do I wish I was Oprah and could hire a staff to shop and cook for me and have a personal trainer every day! I know Id have much more success sooner.
