Very positive first session with Matt at Activ8. I left with concrete steps for improving my posture and body alignment.

Carrie Ann is great. Her postural therapy has helped me reduce pain and exercise more and better.

If you're thinking of hiring Matt, you probably should. I have been dealing with a mild-ish but quite chronic shoulder injury from the accumulated effects of years of climbing and the bad posture that comes from working at a computer. Before Matt, I saw 3 different physical therapists, all of whom seemed very competent, but none could seem to make meaningful progress on it. Then I saw Matt and my shoulder improved within two weeks. My wife is a musician with more serious and chronic issues who had a very similar experience with him. Having seen her experience, the only reason I even hesitated in going to Matt immediately was because we live too far and I reasoned that working with someone remotely would be less effective than working with someone in person. I was wrong, and I wish I had gone to Matt a year earlier. Learn from my mistakes. Hire Matt.

I had a very good session with Carrie Ann this morning. Having had Miranda as my advisor for the past four years and seen much improvement of my posture during that time, Carrie Ann's fresh eyes are appreciated. And so I am happy to work on a few new routines to continue the alignment process.

I've been working with Matt for several years. His ability to diagnose and understand what's been contributing to my particular physical/structural issues is absolutely amazing. His programs and adjustments along the way never fail to create noticeable improvements. Can't say enough great things about him and the program!

Matt (Boston) is an exceptional clinician. I’m guessing that most of us who’ve made our way to Activ8 have had more than our fair share of MRI’s, treatments-galore, injections, not to mention, have seen many physical therapists & have come away disheartened and misunderstood. Matt’s work has taken me to a new level. Six years ago, I could literally barely play with my new puppy (not to mention pick him up). For the past 7 months, I have thoroughly enjoyed our second canine-addition to our family— including taking hikes with her on my back. I drive 2 hours each way for our meetngs without regret. Initially I made it clear to Matt that I did not want him to bullshit me with any of his own hopeful dreams for my recovery. Mercifully, he has obliged me, allowing me to experience the changes that have developed for myself. This is not quick work, nor is it inexpensive, but it does not take a lot of work; just the daily commitment that is likely as little as 30-45minutes. And he is available via texting should that be necessary. My improved quality of life makes it well worth the money.

Matt is fantastic! I've made more progress with him than any other movement specialist, PT or bodywork practicioner. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Matt has an excellent knowledge of human anatomy and has, at multiple intervals over the past years, helped my body create function where there was disfunction. After months of severe pain and little progress working with traditional PT, I could not be more grateful for the speed and progress with which Matt has been able to help with my current recovery of a broken wrist and subsequent frozen shoulder. As always, thank you Matt for your expertise and and kindness.
