I am so pleased to have started my Gyrotonic sessions with Hadassah at her studio in Newton. The Gyrotonic method has been an absolute boon to my overall health, stamina, balance and flexibility. The different movements are designed to encourage optimal flexibility, core strength and spinal well-being. I feel so much better after each session, particularly if my body is feeling tired or stressed when I arrive. Hadassah is a really good teacher, with an easy way of explaining how to do each series of movements and her welcoming and comfortable style make my natural lack of coordination a non-issue! She is clear and concise and able to gauge the most appropriate ways to approach each session. I always finish the session feeling so much more alive than when I started. I am hoping to maintain the routine for the next several decades at least!

I've been doing weekly Gyrotonic sessions with Hadassah for over a year and a half. From when I started to now, I've experienced many benefits from these sessions. I used to have soreness in my lower back and knees accompanied by creaking and popping in my hip joints. Today, these issues have diminished significantly with the added benefits of improved range, stability, and balance. Hadassah's approach to every Gyrotonic session and wellness in general is impactful outside of the sessions themselves. I use her guidance regarding body-mind awareness and efficiency in every movement and transfer these ideas to my gym routines. These cross-over benefits can't be understated. I highly recommend Gyrotonic sessions with Hadassah for all of these reasons and also that her studio is well designed, inviting, and conducive to making healthy and mindful gains.

I started Gyrotonic Sessions with Hadassah several Months ago, at the suggestion of my Ballroom Dance professional's. I am in my 60's and started Ballroom Dancing 10 years ago. I had no previous dance experience, but I am quite athletic. Strength has always been something that is natural for me, but dance is so much more than that. Hadassah has opened up a whole new world for me about body movement, connection and energy flowing through the body. My dancing has changed dramatically since I have been seeing Hadassah and I am able to directly use our Gyrotonic Sessions to have more productive Ballroom Lessons. Hadassah is incredibly kind and patient, and she has such a wonderful way of explaining things so that they can easily be visualized. I cannot reccomend her highly enough!

After every session with Hadassah at Mindful Fitness, I feel taller and younger. Meaning that all of my joints seem to open up and I have more freedom of movement. She is very clear in her description of the exercises and uses great analogies, so I know exactly how each movement is supposed to feel. And while the movements seem gentle as I am doing them, by the end of the session my body feels like it got a great workout. Thanks to Hadassah, I'm not going to turn into that guy who can't bend down to tie my own shoes. To me, this is a quality of life issue!

When I want to treat myself, or even just practice self-care, I turn to Gentle Yoga with Hadassah. Her classes -- both online and in-person -- are both relaxing and refreshing, and I find myself moving more comfortably through my day afterward. I love Hadassah's patient, attentive, and creative approach, especially her reminders for each of to modify the poses as needed and to check in with ourselves occasionally during the class. Her background in modern dance and movement is also evident. I highly recommended Hadassah's yoga classes to beginners and long-time practitioners alike.

She understands the human body and how it can bend and stretch and challenges you to do some great postures and stretches. I always feel better after taking her yoga class! I have taken Yoga and Core Awakening classes with Hadassah for over 10 years. She is a warm, supportive, and attentive instructor. I am one of her older students and her classes never fail to relieve aches and pains and strengthen my body as well as increasing balance, posture and overall well being. Over the years, I have taken some yoga with other instructors, but have never found one to match Hadassah. I highly recommend Hadassah as a teacher and guide; her dance experience and yoga expertise , her empathy and patient teaching, have enhanced my life.
