I have been there first last year which the bathrooms were not bad but this year is very disappointing, and disgusting they are very old. As of Longmeadow being a good town I was shocked how the bathrooms were old! Also the staff are kind of rude and not a smile at all when they yell out for not running they just say no running but rude no please or being polite.
Beautiful playground and the place is quiet. But I give 1 star to the pool for the fact that they charge 15 dollars per person and children over 4 years old also pay 15, and the conditions are just terrible, old toilets, dirty, ceiling of beams, no light. It's just horrible, it made me want to cry, it was like being in a ghetto(. I hope the city government will make repairs for the money they are charging people.
Decent park, went there for toddlers first playground experience . There's a larger kid playground area and a toddler play area, But unfortunately a bunch of bigger kids were all sitting in the toddler one so we couldn't really use it. I think our timing was off and we only got there shortly before some kind of program with lots of kids came by.
Very nice park. Quite amused at whoever designed the memorial plaques on the benches. Yes sir that is a bench.
This is a good place to bring kids. They have a free playground and an outdoor pool but the pool has a fee. I believe it's $13 for adults. It's a couple dollars less for Longmeadow residents. During the summer it was like half the price after 5pm I believe. It's definitely cheaper to get a summer pass if you're going to go regularly. The biggest drawback to the pool is they don't allow floaties or paddle boards.
Very nice playground! It has a 2 seperate section's for big or smaller kiddo's, a huge field and a pool. My 4 year old son had a great time playing on almost everything!! The only negative thing I have to say about this park, is that 1 of the tunnel slide's on the bigger kid's side, is a hair's turn from being straight down! My son love's slide's, but he went down that slide 1 time, came FLYING out crying and scared! He wanted to leave bcuz he was so scared! Other parent's had seen what happened, and then told me their child's story of them whipping out of that slide, and getting hurt or scared. So just a warning that if your kiddo doesn't like fast slide's...then just stay away from the tunnel slide in the back of the bigger kid's side. Besides for that 1 slide, it's overall a good park to go to! Definitely recommend!
My daughter loves "rainbow park". There is an area for smaller children with a smaller playscape and another playscape for larger children. Lots of trees which provide nice shade on sunny days. Mulch can get in your shoes and such but that is to be expected. The exercise equipment is neat but not super functional for working out, the kids seem to enjoy playing on it. The swings are nice, just replaced the chains and swings a few weeks ago. They had been taken down since winter before that. Wish there were easily accessible trash cans. Fun park. Nice clean place to play for the kids.
There is a very nice children's playground. There is a seasonally open municipal swimming pool that is well staffed. These are on the grounds of a former elementary school that now houses a children's daycare. There were once baseball fields and tennis courts that have been eliminated in order to build a new senior center which greatly reduces the park's size and utility.
