Friendly people a great spot on the river

Best kept secret in the area! It is a members & family members only club, but as part of the dues, you put sweat labor into the property to keep membership dues low. It's right up the river from 6 flags, but despite seeming at the center of everything, it's very quiet and peaceful there. There is a pool they host a lot of pot luck dinners featuring a lot of excellent cooks and their delicious recipes. Awesome club

The PVYC is a gem on the Connecticut river. Beautiful views of the river. Great club to belong to. Reasonable membership fee. Great atmosphere. Tons of great parties/events/activities offered. Beautiful pool.

PVYC is a hidden gem. I visited recently as an invitee of a member. This members-only boating club is situated just south of the Southend Bridge in Springfield, with stunning skyline views of Six Flags (Riverside Park to the locals). This club is open to all who want to join. It has a pool, club house, pavilion and, of course, the docks. The club members have both sailing and small powered vessels. Rumor has it that fees are well less than $1000/ year. Sunset views were awesome.

Right on the Connecticut River with lovely views and friendly members. Sailing and a nice large pool. And kiddie pool for kids.

Very nice scenery and atmosphere, very fun when baby geese are feeding :)
