Amazing place! Very peaceful & everyone was so friendly.
Namu-Myoho-Renge-Kyo 🙏. My husband and I had such a wonderful visit to the peace pagoda last year. It is a profoundly peaceful place filled with such a wonderful stillness and “present momentness.” I’ve been reflecting on this place lately given all of the conflicts emerging all over the world. The greatest war seems to be waging on the battlefield of the human heart. If we work on bringing peace to our own hearts, then peace can spread across the world. Peace and love to ALL! 🙏
A marvelously peaceful experience. Parking for able bodies is in a lower lot with a short hike up a dirt roadway to pagoda and grounds. There are a number of small benches and rocks to sit and meditate upon. ✌🏻
Such a beautiful peaceful place. The perfect place to visit and recenter your mind. If you are looking for a place to relax and mediate this is the perfect place. I can’t wait for spring to visit again.
A very beautiful and peaceful place. I will be making future trips to this location. A great spot to get some fresh air and re-center your mind and soul.
This was such a beautifully stunning place to go and meditate. A very calming atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back. I love it here!
Very peaceful, serene, tucked away from the main road. A small 3 minutes hike from the car park will bring you to the pagoda. Next to pagoda is Japanese Zen garden. There are plenty of spots for meditation in and outside of zen garden. When we, a group of nine arrived, there was a person meditating on top of a stone for which we kept our talks to whispers. It was fun. At the base of the hike, there is a statue of Mayawati devi (mother) and little buddha explaining how and where Buddha was born. Also, one minute up the hill there is a buddha statue sitting on a huge serpent depicting the serpent protecting buddha from huge storm and rain. Beautiful place for photo ops.
Every late summer, early fall I make the trip. Every year the gardens are a little better, grounds a little more groomed, buildings for the monks a little nicer. I like watching the progress. It's a great place to relax and chill.
