Open weekends only beginning Memorial Day weekend, and full time after June 24, 2023. Enjoy a good book, relax and swim at Musante Beach in Leeds, MA. Great spot for families. Lifeguards are on duty when open, bathrooms and changing areas are available, as well as a parking lot.
Lifeguarded roped off calm water and not freezing. I found a few stones to put in the tumbler. It's a lovely beach.
A very lovely local swimming hole with lifeguards and a cordoned off swimming area. Perfect for families with small children. Some shade available and bathrooms.
Really cute place. I brought some preschooler aged children and they had fun playing in the sand.
Had to change our previous, long-standing 5-star to a 1-star today (8/23/2020). Prior to today, Musante was a joy to visit EVERY time (including two outstanding visits last week). How sad. We were expecting your customary level of service and instead endured your employee's rude, accusatory, condescending attitude. Clearly he needs a different job. Your employee did NOT appropriately represent what you offer at all! Disgusting, but I am sure the mouthpiece will justify the militant behavior if confronted about it. The question is, is that the impression you wish to project to those who choose to visit Musante Beach? A sign of the times for sure. PS - to be clear, this post has absolutely nothing to do with your new, reasonable covid protocols. It was, simply-put, one employee's disturbingly emboldened behavior.
Very small, not worth the 25 the family had to pay to get in. Very unstructured, in the sense they have a lifeguard come up to you and demand money, very unpleasant. I was getting my chair from the car and came up 25 seconds behind my group, I set up the chair, out of the blue this guy asks me if I'm in a party. Well I'm not expecting an inquisition and I'm taken by surprise. Very rude. Well I'm in the way back, on the opposite side of the sidewalk, and I light up a cigarette, a younger lifeguard walks past me on him phone and disappears for a minute, then comes back and tells me not to smoke, that I'd have to go 15 more feet away. The whole reason I sat where I did in the first place. If I'm paying for these places just for the 3 lifeguards they had, in this tiny looked like an overflow from a reservoir. Then it closes at 630pm? Why? That's about the time you go after dinner. It was a waste of money.
This beach is very clean and well kept. There are lifeguards on duty, during hours the beach is open. There is a lot of wildlife. Fish can visbly be seen standing along the shoreline. There is a restroom that is also open during business hours. The swimming area overall is visually pleasing as well as nice to swim in. Five stars.
They have life guards during their posted hours. The fee is small the keep a town owned swimming hole safe. A great place to take your kids in the summer.
Good place to swim, it's about 6 feet deep but I don't think the water is clean because I saw a dead fish floating in it. There's life guards on duty, you could use a diving mask, there's bathrooms, free parking. If your not a resident and want to swim it is $6.
