The Reset doesn't care about six-pack abs. We're not interested in training you to be an elite athelete. And we definitely don't jump on fitness fads. We want you to live a long and strong life. We want you to feel comfortable in your body and clothes. We're into movements that make you strong and flexible from the inside out. In other words? We're for you. In our classes you will 1. Improve your cardiovascular health. 2. Strengthen your muscles (especially your core) and 3. Maintain your balance and flexibility. You will also make friends and have fun and maybe wear a tiara. We are a warm group of folks and we welcome ALL FITNESS LEVELS.
I’m so grateful I found The Reset. I’ve been coming here for about a year and it’s truly changed my life for the better. I have seen so many positive physical and mental results for myself and those around me. The friendly accountability created by staff and members here consistently encourages me to keep improving. Classes are appropriately-challenging and varied, focusing on your whole body. Lindsay puts a ton of thought into functional fitness classes, including game-style Saturday boot camps and additional themed or collaborative classes among teachers. Additional classes include Pilates fusion, weightlifting, circuits, Zumba, dance fitness and yoga. All of the teachers- Ashley, JD, Jossan and Hannah- are welcoming and encourage a balance between listening to your body and challenging yourself. Members at The Reset have been so supportive and create an environment that is fun but focused. I also appreciate that The Reset is an affordable option compared to many gyms in the area. It is definitely worth a shot!
The Reset Fitness is an amazing place. Not only to get fit but to find a community that cares for you too. I have been a member for a few years now and truly am saddened when I have to miss a workout. Whether you're new to group fitness (or fitness in general) or a total gym rat Lindsey and her team will help you achieve your goals. All the instructors are really great at giving you feedback and modifications for all fitness levels. They will push you to do your best without hurting yourself at your own pace. The members at the reset are next level kind too. They are encouraging without being in your face, and are friendly and welcoming. If you want to find community in the valley, you can find it here, or you can workout without getting pestered too. Truly I have never found a place quite like it. Affordable, varied, skilled, caring, and beyond. The reset is literally my favorite place. I do realize this reads like an ad, but it is really just a very very thankful member who is so happy to have found this place.
Lindsey and his place are so welcoming. Great energy, great music, and sets of a variety of exercises that each of us do at our own pace. Always a great workout that makes me sweat, get my heart rate way up, and no competitive vibes. Get ready to feel good!
I love this gym! I consistently get a great workout that works every muscle. It is cardio and strength. Lindsay is a fantastic instructor and I would recommend The Reset to anyone looking for a high energy, complete workout! The atmosphere is friendly and supportive.
I have been coming to the Reset for the past 5 months and I am completely blown away with what an amazing place it is! The workouts are as challenging as they are fun, leaving you feeling strong and accomplished. I had never used the TRX system and love it now! What really sets The Reset apart is the community. The Reset is my absolute favorite place to be! Lindsey’s workouts are the perfect length of time, effective, and easily adaptable to however everyone feels individually on that day. She makes them so much fun and varies them daily, and challenges and encourages me to push myself and be the best version of me. Lindsey as an instructor and person is even better. Her energy and enthusiasm in every single class 6AM - 6PM is unmatched. She cares for everyone and their personal goals and goes out of her way to check in. She has built the most incredible community of people who are everyone’s biggest cheerleaders - both in and out of class - and I have never felt so strong, supported, and confident. I am so thankful to have the Reset and Lindsey in my life!

The Reset is the best! Lindsay is killing it! Her workouts are amazing and allow for people with different abilities to hit their fitness goals. Lindsay offers TRX, Bootcamps, Zumba, Pilates, a free Run Club on Sundays, among other classes as well. Lindsay's gym is fantastic and her commitment to the community is second to none!
I found The Reset when I first moved to the area & it s been perfect for me! People are relaxed and kind. There are folks of all fitness levels and there is zero sense of judgement. There is a sense of community at this studio that is very heartwarming; you can tell there are long-time clients here. Lindsay, the owner, is extremely welcoming, energetic, & passionate about the gym and the community. There are a variety of class options; functional circuit, boot camp, yoga, dance/Zumba, Pilates fusion, etc. The diversity in workouts is awesome; it s a 1 stop studio. The strength training is not as intense/intimidating/time consuming as weightlifting or CrossFit gym. I really appreciate the free class offer for new clients and the 30-day promotion for new clients- it s a phenomenal deal! After that, the rates are still really great with a la carte/pay-as-you-go packages; no contracts! (Great for traveling professionals and short term residents.) And there are options for personal training. The Reset is located in Open Square, the country s largest zero net energy mixed-use space. The studio is big and open with fitness equipment organized around the perimeter. There is a public bathroom outside the studio. There is ample free parking and elevator access if needed.
These workouts changed my life and enhanced my perspective on my body! Lindsay consistently shows up for every client, communicates clearly, and provides the best exercises. Huge fan and so proud of my progress to living a happier and healthier lifestyle with the help of The Reset!
I loved everything about this class! The Trx was amazing, the instructor had energy and motivation that really gave me a push! And the movement we did felt amazing for my body, it was a great workout! I wish I could make it work into my schedule more but if I find the time, I would love to be there more!
My first time working with a trainer and I wouldn t want to have walked in anywhere else. I hadn t tried TRX before coming here and it s been perfect for me. I was out of shape, and no longer. My body and energy are transformed- Lindsay is the best- energized, supportive, tough, and attentive. She ll kick your butt and you ll thank her for it. I m so grateful to have found her, my health and strength are so much better for it. Run, don t walk to The Reset. You won t find a better trainer.
Lindsay is an energetic and motivating spirit! I love coming to such a supportive gym. When I moved here, I wanted a fitness studio that supported my pacing and allowed me to do as many reps as I could without the shame of taking breaks. This place really cultivates a great community environment and the workouts are just what I need. Plus the TRX is super easy to learn on!

I am so glad I discovered The Reset. I just started about a month ago and I am in pretty poor shape, with a desk job and mostly sedentary lifestyle, as well as chronic back pain. I love the Lets Get Functional classes, and I already feel stronger/better. Lindsay is so great at keeping the class upbeat, at motivating you, and the workouts that she sets up are tough but adaptable to any level (since I have been able to mostly keep up despite being quite out of shape). Lindsay also does a great job at making you feel welcome and part of a community. On Day One, she knew my name and she knows everyone elses as well in every class. Its really encouraging to hear her shout out Good job, Sara or You got this Sara while completing the activities. I normally have a hard time getting myself motivated to work out or be active, but I somehow am not having any trouble dragging myself out of bed at 5:30 am for the 6:00 am class. I also took a Vinyasa Yoga class with Gena (Gina?), and it was great as well. The studio/space is lovely as well.
Fitness for every body! Lindsay at the Reset is the best kept secret in the Valley. Never before have I wanted to work out, now I do. Now I m disappointed when other obligations interfere with my time at the Reset. I m a short, round, 40something, queer woman and I have never felt more comfortable at a gym. My mindset has changed since working out with Lindsay, I no longer work out to lose weight, I work out to be strong and flexible, to have less pain, and to take care of my mental health. Lindsay is an amazing cheerleader and an inspiring coach. She makes every single class challenging, fun - and a killer workout. And her classes work for every person in the room, regardless of where they are in their fitness journey. I ve been working out with Lindsay for two years and I have never felt better about myself and my ability to do new (hard) things. Her functional fitness classes using the TRX will change how you think about strength training. Her dance fitness class will make you laugh and sweat a lot! Try a class, and then go back again even though you know it s going to be hard, you will not regret it. Thank you, Lindsay, you are amazing. The community and the culture you have created at the Reset is magic.

I ve been going to the reset for a few weeks now, and all I have to say is wow. Lindsay is the absolute best, and is your biggest cheerleader throughout the entire workout. Each workout is slightly different so you re always interested, and I ve been loving toning my different muscle groups. If you re a beginner, go to the reset. If you re looking for a challenge, go to the reset. If you re looking for a place to start building muscle, go to the reset. I can t say enough good about this spot and Lindsay. Go go go!

Lindsay is amazing! Ive been going here for a few months now. The workouts are challenging, fun and always changing, so its never boring. Ive always had this weird stigma about exercising around other people, but this place is welcoming and the people are friendly, so it ended up not being an issue. Everyone here is very welcoming and it feels more like a community than just going to a gym.

Without question THE best trainer ever! She prepares (sometimes too diligently!) every .single ..class with intention and purpose. Moves are extremely challenging but fun also! She gives incredible direction and informative prompts about form which produce results! Her energy is NUTS! Have never felt stronger. GET THERE.
I dont love working out, and Im definitely not a self motivator-so why do I work out at The Reset 3 times a week, EVERY week? Easy. Two words...Lindsay and community. Lindsay is the best trainer, coach and cheerleader. She knows just how to encourage me and help me to feel better and get stronger. The Reset community helps me to stay focused and committed, all while having fun. TRX, Dance Fitness, Barre, Boot Camp, Lindsay does it all...except yoga, thats Hannah! (Shes amazing, too!)

I am OBSESSED! So happy I found The Reset and Lindsay! When I started going to The Reset about 2.5 months ago I was the most out of shape Ive been in a long time (after a long winter hiding from the cold and working a ton of OT). I set a goal to go just twice a week. I have stuck to that goal by going to the Lets Get Functional classes and omg what a positive experience this has all been!! Lindsay is incredible. What a human! I am kind of a slug honestly and Lindsay is sooo motivating! I would never (I repeat, never) do workouts like these on my own. They are challenging but you truly get a super effective full body workout each class and every class is different. Lindsay creates a whole new, well curated routine every single time! Its also worth mentioning that the jams are pure fire. If you are thinking of checking out The Reset just try it out. You will be so pumped that you did. The workouts are easily customized to each person and if you arent in great shape at first its totally fine. You will get there! Since joining The Reset I feel better, I feel stronger, I have better posture, less aches and pains, and although the focus here is not on appearances I certainly dont mind the positive physical changes that Im noticing! Lindsay doesnt force you to push yourself. Shes a magic human who somehow makes you WANT to push yourself with her amazing energy and super fun and effective workouts. Get your butt to a class! You will be so happy that you did.
I discovered the reset this year and it s been such a fantastic addition to my life. Lindsey is charismatic, thoughtful and incredibly encouraging. She knows when to challenge you, and when to let you go at your own pace. I ve never been a fitness class person but the classes at The Reset completely changed that for me. I plan my entire weeks around these classes now. The workouts are well-rounded, and Lindsey offers modifications for every move which makes the classes accessible. One of my friends sent me info on this studio and I am so happy she did! I haven t worked out outside my living room in years and let s be honest, I m not pushing myself when I m alone. Lindsay hypes you up and keeps you going. The music is AWESOME!! It s small and intimate which I LOVE. Then right when you think you re going to die or puke it s over and you re laying in a pool of sweat on the floor stretching it out! It s really the perfect workout and I can t wait until my next class! Thank you Lindsay!

Love the Reset! Joined a while ago and much to my surprise somehow keep going 3x a week. Lindsay is so nice and supportive (and stays very patient when I constantly forget the routines haha!) Love that the place is down to earth, focuses on health, strength, and comfort over gurus, cults, and looks. Highly recommend the Reset!
What a great studio! The space is cool and Lindsay is the most positive and motivating instructor for people at any level of fitness. The classes are challenging, but there are always modifications available and creative twists to keep things fun. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Lindsay is a phenomenal trainer. I went in to the Reset wanting to lose weight. Lindsay has shown (and proven) that it s not about weight loss. It s about getting and feeling stronger, healthier and loving the skin that you re in. The group classes are one of a kind as well, ridiculously high energy and super fun that you ll forget your working out! You may go into the Reset feeling negatively- but you ll leave feeling re-energized and ready to conquer whatever lies ahead.
The battery of our rental car died in the parking lot outside Reset, and the owner was so gracious to help jump our car. Truly a shining example of a small business owner who is looking out for the people and the community around them! I dont live in Holyoke, but after seeing her amazingly toned arms, I wish I did so I could train with her!
Best place ever to get fit, flex, feel stong, and have fun while doing it! Maggie knows how to skillfully mix up the routines, quide you through workouts with options to modify or be challenged, and she will definitely motivate you with her humorous wit, and super friendly support. This is great for Holyoke!
I would highly recommend these classes. This was my first time trying TRX (time well spent!). I really enjoyed the workout, but the most fabulous part was Maggie. Her enthusiasm and delivery cant be beat. Dont debate. Absolutely worth a try. Plus, its $5 for your first class!

Classes are well-paced and challenging, but Maggie always makes sure to explain variations of the exercises so you can tailor your workout to your own strength level, and she creates a positive, non-judgmental environment. You definitely feel it in your muscles for days afterward in a good way! Highly recommended!
