The river was about 2” deep because they were preparing for rain later so it made it difficult to do anything in the water. I get that it’s not usually like that but it made the rest of the day very difficult.

I think is a lot to pay $8 per person not per car but it is a great family place it's really enjoyable. There are bathrooms, lifeguards and grills. Overall it's a beautiful and great place to visit with the fam.

It’s a nice little kids park.. that’s it. If you want to BBQ and keep the little ones entertained this is the place. If you have grandparents that want to “go out” but not really do anything, this is the place. Teenagers will not be thrilled. Unless they just want to sunbathe. And if you want to go swimming-swimming this is not the place. Maybe the water has gotten high enough at some point in the past but it’s not even knee high and it’s About to be July. There aren’t any bike trails in the park just the one leading to the park.

It's a beautiful place. My family and I go there to walk our dog all through the fall, winter and spring (for free). Recently I picked up my step kids and drove the hour from their mom's house to Greenfield. We needed groceries and Big Y is on our way home to Turners Falls, so not wanting to bring four young kids to the grocery store I brought them here as it's the closest playground I know of. It was already after five pm and they didn't bring swim suits. I dropped them off and was pulling out to go back to the grocery store and was stopped and told that even though the swimming was closed, we needed to pay. I had to pay $10 for them to use the playground when there are tons of free playgrounds in Greenfield and Turners. Put up a sign about the bacteria in the water and send people home. You should not be charging money if the swimming area isn't open. We were not impressed. Also, that late in the day and you're still charging..for just using the playground?

Really open and air centric. Non-crowded and safe. The playground was close too for the little ones to have play options. Cheap ice creams, free water fountain, good for laps in the River or just regular swimming. Want to go again!
