I feel better as soon as I walk through the door! The atmosphere is beautiful. Ellen and Denise are great teachers. I would recommended this studio to anyone.

I have been practicing yoga for 10 years in many studios. Burning Heart is the real deal. Ellen , the owner is dedicated and very knowledgeable but what sets her apart from many other good yoga teachers is her knowledge of the body which is due to her Pilates and other exercise backgrounds. Burning Heart offers spin and private lessons. It is really a one stop studio offering many types of fitness. But yoga with Ellen is transcendental. I highly recommend it.

I came to Burning Heart having done vinyasa for a few years. I hadn't tried hot yoga in a long time. I wasn't sure I could do hot yoga. I'm still not sure I can. But I can't deny I've grown a lot at Burning Heart. I can do a couple poses I could never do before. Nice to have those arrows in my quiver. Aside from that, Ellen has helped me with my shoulder problems, which yoga had seemed to hurt as often as it helped. Just being straighter and firmer in my poses is what's helped me. Teacher guidance got me there, combined with the strength, flexibility, and focus I've developed. Spin class, I definitely can do. Good thing, because I have a hard time driving myself when it comes to cardio. I don't have the natural energy I did when I was younger, of course. So it helps to have a motivator. Now I'm finding I'm finally reaching that next level of conditioning! By the way, Ellen is relatively hard-driving, which a lot of us like. But there are other teachers too, with styles of their own.
