Everyone from Fitchburg to Leominster to Lunenburg goes to that pool it's a free pool just walk in
Is a great pool to go to, The environment is clean, SOME Of the Life Guards, There is is This Girl That has Red Dye in Her Hair Was Screaming At Kids instead of letting them know with the whistle she would yell on top of her lungs to children, Gladly She didn't yell at my kid because that would have been not nice I would of told her " You have no right to yell at these kids the way you do!, You definitely Need to be shown some manners, She has Red-pinkish Dye in her hair She had it braided with two braids 7-14-24, She was very disrespectful and should not be having a job like this if she is going to talk to kids the way she does... NOT COOL AT ALL !!!! I Definitely Didn't Like The Way She Talked To The Kids!!...🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Finally there's a pool in Fitchburg open this summer!! I know where I'm going to be spending these hot summer days!! This one is free so of course it's for me lol. Anyway this was my first time here and today I went with my five-year-old who wouldn't ever get into a pool before out of fear I think. Ive tried every summer for the past 3 summers to get this kid into a pool with no luck but this pool has I think I saw about 3 or 4 different levels of depth. It was crystal clear and very spacious even with a whole bus full of kids that came. Once my kid realized he could be touch the bottom with his feet he fell in love. The lifeguards were helpful and plentiful. The bathrooms were fairly clean. There's a shower to wash off. And a sprinkler area for smaller kiddos. You can also bring your own food and drinks, I even saw someone get delivery. It opens a little late at like 11:15 a.m. but it stays open until 6:45 p.m. which is great. Overall it's a great place definitely check it out.
It’s July and 90 degrees but the DPW can’t open any pools yet. Glad to see our tax dollars hard at work.
I have an autistic son, and last summer, we went almost every day, now we wanted to go, but it's closed, I would like to know if they will open this summer 2023?
This amazing lifeguard went Beyond helping someone at the pool today. There was an overweight person that needed help getting out the pool. They had to use the Ranger pool lift. It’s a chair that helps disable or overweight person get out or into the pool. I saw that the lady needed help getting her nephew out of the pool and only one lifeguard jumped in the pool to help. I just feel this lifeguard needs a little recognition for the amazing job he did. I love going to this pool and today I was reminded why. No one laughed the lifeguard did his job and they went on with his day like if nothing ever . happened.
Very clean. Lots of staff so I feel safe with the kids. Picnic tables and grassy areas make this a nice place to hangout for a while.
Not to crowded, the shallow end is 2'6". My 4yo could stand in the pool with her head above water. That made my day more enjoyable. The "deep" end is 5"6" at the deepest. I felt comfortable that my not quite 5'daughter could manage with her friend. There were 3 life guards (or more) watching at all times when swimmers were in the water. Water was clear. Bottom of the pool visible. Regular pool breaks were had where water quality was tested.
