Great local market fresh meat vegetables local milk good bakery
Easy to get to right in the center of Easthampton. They have a good deli section.
Nice small town supermarket. Great overall experience. Butcher does fantastic job. Prices are fair and great bakery goods.
I try to spend most of my grocery dollars here because I hope Big E's continues to thrive for a long time. It is a local gem. It's not too big, not too small - just right. The produce section is the best in town - they are always stocked and always with quality food. (The other "big" grocery store in town always has subpar produce.) I also appreciate that they package and sell small amounts of things (meat, baked goods) in a size that is actually appropriate for a single person, a couple, or just a person on a budget. Even though they are a small store, they still stock the specialty ingredients I need for gluten-free or vegan recipes for my family. I notice they donate a lot to our community - no matter what it is, whenever there is a local fundraiser or event going on, the Big E's logo is always on there. Can't say the same for our town's corporate stores. Keep up the good work Big E's! We appreciate you.
I been in Easthampton for almost 5 years and is sad to say that is been going to this supermarket one because when I move here witch it was in the begging of covid and there was a lot of kind people 😔 and I have never seen any one treat people with difference they have a lot of kind people working there but also unfortunately, I have to say that there are people working there like the color and races matter if you know what I mean is very sad to say that people as of today feel that way. They look at you like what are u doing here you don't belong here our like there facial expression say so much. I always believe that with out customer we don't have business and always belive that if my employees are happy my business will also be to and customer service should always the number one in the list always greet and smile because everyone in this world one way our another they are struggling with something as a person we should always think that we can always help even with the most ridiculous things is always important to be kind and respect each other even if we don't agree with them just respect. Hope this help someone because you want to be part of a community that respect and care.
was in this store with my family, unfortunately there was a racist and ill-mannered old woman at the cashier. It was the last time for me and all my friends shopped there, as I advised them not to go there.
CLASSIC old-school grocery store. So consistent with their offerings. They've also adjusted over the years, to match what their customers are looking for. They would benefit greatly, by buying that abandoned lot to their left, and expanding a bit. As Easthampton grows, they need to grow. Maybe time to upgrade bakery, or update their meat or seafood or deli?
Aside from the smell of old beer in the entrance, which is often hard to enter due to whomever bringing their recycling in, big e is an attempt at big y that falls short in customer service. It's kinda like a mom and pop big y. Though I do have to say their prices are highly competitive.
