Been going for 7 + years, something has happened in the past 2 where this place has become a nightmare to deal with. In the past I've been billed for an appointment I didn't even go to, basically HARRASSED with incessant automated calls. My primary decided it necessary to alert me about my blood test results, but never follow through as she went on leave- but also didn't inform anyone else to handle it. Today was the last straw. I was briefly inspected by a doctor who never introduced himself. I could only assume he was a dr because of the stethoscope around his neck. He then proceeded to shrug his shoulders and tell me there was nothing he could do about the hearing loss in my ear. Honestly he was more excited to talk to me about my career in radio, and music and the grateful dead. Yknow. Instead of the ear. That I can't hear out of. I basically had to beg him to give me drops. I am so done with this place.
Be aware they are always running behind. What ever your appointment time is expect to wait at least 20-30 minutes before be assisted to room. Once in the room expect to wait at least another 15 minutes.
I have been a patient of Dr Feinland s since 2006. He is a great M.D. I am going through a lot of medical trials,. I have hematomas on my liver and nodules in my cervix. I had a CT scan with contrast vat the Daly building at Baystate Hospital, followed up by anMRI at Shields 80 Wason Ave. in Springfield.Ibhave been scared about my deteriorating health. Valley Medical Easthampton is a great practice and treated my son Euriah as well as Eric.
Far and above one of the best facilities I’ve been to. Only had one negative experience with a counselor here but the other docs are so compassionate. They listen to their patients and make sure they feel heard. They are willing to help with anything.
Was having serious medical issues that this office brushed off everytime I went in desperately seeking help. At one point I was going every two week and the doctor was extremely dismissive and sent me to psych. Ends up I have severe immune and nervous system dysfunction made worse because it was not caught early. This office (and other valley medical offices in the area) unfortunately delayed my diagnosis for over 20 years.
As a mother to a child with special needs, it’s nearly impossible to find a doctor that listens to the parent/patient and prioritizes the needs of the patient. Dr. Slack is an invaluable asset to this team here, I wish we met him sooner. We were on waitlists for neurological evaluations for years, now we have a visit next week! We were also given referrals to so many other providers that we have been waiting months, even YEARS for with other practices. He even sets follow up visits to check in on us throughout the year. He listens, he cares and he is one of very few doctors we’ve met since moving to the area that I can truly say loves his field and cares about the health and wellbeing of those he treats. We see his passion, and it shows in his work. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. His office staff is also super friendly and kind. We are beyond thankful for him and all he’s done for our daughter. Thank you all so much for the work you do, and please continue to lead the field of medicine.
The Easthampton office is terrific - the front desk answers the phones quickly and are super helpful, the Dr.'s and Nurse Practitioners are friendly, accomplished and professional and have gone the extra mile for me without exception, and the mental health care has far exceeded expectations. I do not have the best health insurance and yet this office provides me with the very best care I have ever had. I suspect sometimes a number of people come into the office with a bad attitude and bad mood and are somehow surprised when they are treated the same, and I suspect most of these people probably write bad reviews.
Current time review: Aug 9th 2023 I am being seen by a nurse practioner here. She is now my primary. I was able to be seen basically with in 6 days after my emergency room visit and then she was able to schedule another visit in a week!!!which is very amazing considering other places such as a baystate have literally a 6+ waiting time for anything !!! Also make me nervous about my health cause it could mean there is seriously something severely wrong to move it up that quick. I will update this review in a year to update how my experience here is and maybe hope to have a more clarity on my health August 10th: she was able to see me again and a follow up in 1.5 months!!. This office is amazing compared to baystate...you can get labwork and everything you need in an hour. She listens my case is tough (multiple issues) !!! but I am confident we can get through this 💪 ✨️ 😌 Feb 20th Called about pain! And they scheduled me to come in like 3 days later which is amazing, they were very accommodating to some barriers i have! They even were able to get me a follow up appointment and labs a week after visit. I love this office.
