Let me start by saying Kate is wonderful and very attentive. This was our first time here and we were blown away. The drinks are delicious and the food is of high quality. The chicken piccata was to die for. My favorite dish of the evening. The bread and seasoned oil was plentiful before our dinner. Portions are reasonable for the price. The only dish we thought may have been smaller than the rest was the Shrimp Scampi. It was still very good! My biggest issue was the reservation was made with the knowledge of there being a handicapped person in a wheelchair. We were told to go to the "take out" door where there's a ramp. We entered the corner of the bar where the bartender told us we needed to go around the building to the front door. We did what she said and sat outside in the cold for far too long while that misinformation was situated. The ramp leads to the corner of the bar where everyone had to get up to let the wheelchair through. All the way through the "handicapped entrance" everyone had to move. Then we were informed our table was up stairs.... Just tough but we made it work luckily with no falls. Thank you Kate for flipping the beginning of our experience around.
Nini's my companys holiday party last night and everything was wonderful! 10 of us ordered a variety of different apps, entrees, and a few desserts and we loved it all all. Server was wonderful too! Definitely a great spot with a solid menu. Check it out for sure.
Nini's is an institution for a reason. The food and service is always top notch and incredible. We started with the gorganzola fondue. It was huge, a whole loaf of bread. The gorganzola fondue sauce, which the bread rested upon, what light and tangy with the flavor of the gorganzola. Our 8 year, quite the pick eater, even enjoy. Said 8 year old enjoy the kids penne with meatball, an impressive large meatbal for any kid. My wife had the Tuscan chicken, and I tried a bite. The breaded and fried chicken was fresh, tender and the coating flavorful. The broccoli was cooked to a nice crispness. And the cream sauce added a nice compliment. I had the special - paste a la Nonna. Pasta with beef tips, meatball and a sausage. While it looks small in the bowl don't let that fool you. It is quite filling. Each of the meats was tender and cooked to perfection. The only problem is the meals are so good and filling, none of us had room for the great looking desserts. When visiting Nini's arrive early or you'll be waiting in line. It is that good. Paking is available on the street or the town parking lot about a half block away
Nini’s recently catered our wedding and they did such an amazing job! Johnny, Sam, Cappie and their team were so great to work with. From the initial food tasting to the day of our wedding, the food was delicious! We have gotten so many compliments from our guests about the food. Cappie did such a great job with the setup and made sure our reception was beautiful. She is fabulous at what she does. Sam is such a talented chef. He communicated with us from the beginning to the end about what we wanted and what was possible. He was accommodating and helpful with any questions we had. The wait staff was so kind and they were right on top of it if we requested something. We can’t recommend Nini’s enough!
Excellent food. From salads and bread to dessert. Classic romantic atmosphere. Definitely a new favorite place for us. Yes parking is a little difficult but well worth it.
Terrific experience. Parking is very limited, and I mean VERY limited. Mostly on street. BUT Once inside, you forget all that. The atmosphere was terrific, and food was even better. We arrived early so parking wasn't an issue, but as the night went on, the restaurant was super busy, and so wasn't the downtown traffic. We got the Shrimp Giovanni and their Chicken Broccoli Alfredo. The shrimp dish was very flavorful, and the Alfredo was the best we've had in a long time. Zuppa for an appetizer with italian bread and butter. Couldn't go wrong.
Ninis is an Italian restaurant in east Hampton ma. We have been a few times, I tend to like it less than my wife and her parents. We went last night on a busy Friday after galaxy didn’t notify us our reservation wasn’t approved. I got shrimp scampi which was really good but 25$ and I was still hungry afterwards. Entrees come with decent salads, their house ranch is really good. Everyone liked their meals tonight as pictured below. The wait wasn’t that bad considering the place was swarmed. I give four stars because the food has been bland for me twice before. The service was great and the restaurant looks like a run of the mill Italian restaurant. Everyone loves their deserts, we skipped that tonight as our baby was fussy.
My wife heard about this place from a coworker and as fate would have it, I decided to take her out for dinner and asked where she wanted to go. What perfect timing and a GREAT choice. From the appetizers to the main course, we were absolutely WOWED! Even the bread and oil they start you with is addictive, but you MUST try the Gorgonzola Fondue! My wife went with the Chicken Alfredo, a go-to for her, but her eyes popped open on the first bite as she said "this is amazing"! I tried the Chicken, Sausage and Cheese Ravioli, and I couldn't have been more pleased. The Chicken was so tender and the sausage was full of flavor. The sauce was a bit oily, but it came across as a Tuscan style and was so flavorful that a little oil didn't bother me at all. To top off the warmth of the decor and the delicious food (compliments to the chef), the service was top notch, friendly and on point. This is definitely not our last visit. GO TO NINI'S and Thank Me later. See pictures for plates
