I needed a little bit of a change so I switched up hairdressers after people kept telling me to check out the Lift. Finally decided to just go for it & I am in awe. I was red/copper & Roxanne lifted me to the most beautiful blonde. I was okay with being a golden blonde because of the red but she & her co workers made some magic & I left feeling so confident & beautiful. I love that her team stepped in to help out with the process because though my hair is thin, there’s a lot of it 😅 Everyone was so excited to see the results & they were hyping me up & I just really neeeded that after the week I had. I will recommend this place to anyone who will listen. Thank you Roxanne & to everyone at The Lift!!!! What an amazing experience & I am excited to continue my hair journey here 😀

Jon is absolutely incredible. Super gifted. Spent a while researching balayage and blonding stylists in the area- came across his galleries and creations at the Lift and knew he was going to be the one turn my hair into a thing of beauty. And he sure did. I can’t rave enough about him. This was the first time leaving a salon truly happy and satisfied with the end product.

Sam Bruno always does the most fantastic job on my hair. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a more experienced hair stylist. I always leave her looking like a movie star. Which is a lot to say because it took me years and years to find someone who could style my unruly hair. Thank you so much Sam! I really appreciate you and all your work!

I was visiting town and was able to quickly schedule haircut with Roxanne who was wonderful and did nice work! The salon was lovely. The hair washing chairs were so comfortable! And I got two small cookies with my bubbly water! All around wonderful experience!

I have been going to Morgan at The Lift for 7+ years now and each experience has been nothing but the best. When I first started going I was having terrible experience after the last at different salons and sitting in Morgan’s chair was the best decision ever. After our first experience- I wanted something new for me so I got a balayage (also continued getting this for some time)- I knew I was set and she would be my girl. For a couple years I flirted with the idea of extensions and when I finally did it Morgan educated me on how to take care of them and walked me through the whole process and I was in love with them. She did an AMAZING job. I was really good to my extensions and made them last 1.5 years but not without Morgan’s attention to detail and overall hair knowledge that helped me help myself. (See pictures below) After my extension phase I let my hair just be natural and do its thing and the growth was finally recognizable.. Last summer I decided I was bored of brown and went to a fun red (see pictures below) and I’ve been this color ever since. I love it so much and I’m so glad Morgan mixed this up for me. We say it every appointment, this is my true color. Leaving her is sad but I’m gonna absolutely get my hair done when I visit. Thank you for everything!

I went in about a month ago after there was an advertisement to be a hair model. I had never been to this salon before but a friend goes there often so I figured this was a good way to try a new place. I have short hair so I usually just go to Super Cuts for a simple cut. I am always leery about spending a lot of money on a cut, especially if I don’t like it. I had a simple trim done by Lauren and liked the vibe there so decided to give it a try again. I went online and booked with Jon. I went in today for a my appointment and was kindly greeted, the girl at the desk took my coat, and offered me a beverage. Jon was so kind and really took the time to chat with me about what I wanted for a cut and I wasn’t really set on anything in particular and he made suggestions on what he thought would be good for my length, texture and curls. He thoroughly washed my hair and gave me a head massage and I could have fallen asleep right there. Jon took a good amount of time with me and there was another girl there who was shadowing him and he was explaining to her what he was doing and why and it was very interesting to hear his methods. When he finished the cut he used a few different products and explained why he was using them and what they were good for. He asked if I wanted my hair blown out fully and I opted for just having it diffused. He said diffusing it would show what it would be like to do it simply at home. I was really impressed with Jon, the cut and the time he spent with me was well worth the money spent, and I am already looking forward to my next cut with Jon. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A wonderful, high quality salon! I have been coming to The Lift for at least 10 years, the last 6 of which I have been living in Boston and drive 2 hours to come. Christel (the owner) has always cut my hair. I appreciate Christel’s knowledge and ability to respect your wishes while also offering professional advice. The shampooing experience is out of this world with reclining massage chairs and heated towels during a lengthy head massage. The salon is always busy yet always on time, and it is telling that they have been able to retain a talented team even through industry staffing challenges. I appreciate that they are open until 8pm during the week and that you can easily book/cancel/reschedule online. I am impressed by The Lift’s long-time commitment to education - every Monday they are closed for stylist education and their staff attend multiple conferences a year. They also have an extensive training program for new stylists. The front desk staff are always welcoming and offer you a choice of delicious teas (loose leaf Tea Guys!) when you arrive. The vibe and aesthetic of the salon is high-end chic (see photos), yet their prices are affordable for the high quality of service you receive. I fully recommend this business and I will never go to another salon!

Love love love this place! Morgan is amazing I see her every so often and I leave satisfied every single time. Vivids to balayage and natural colors, these people for sure got it down pat.
